You have to remember that the person with the camera watched as Puka tried to get mom’s attention. Puka went to the window, but she never looked up. This video was staged to happen this way. The camera person could have prevented this from happening because they watched the entire thing play out. It was planned this way. I saw the same thing happen on another monkey video. It was handled the same way. No stern rebuke. Just gently correction. An opportunity to teach the monkey. An example of how to correct a mistake in love and compassion.
This was not Puka’s fault at all. The door to the sewing room should have been left open enough for Puka to go in the let mom know that he was awake and ready to eat. Even the camera person could have given some melon 🍈 to Puka to avoid this, but it was all staged to happen this way for the purpose of creating video content for the viewers who love watching monkey channels. I agree that the plate should have been plastic to avoid breaking the porcelain plate.
All in all, it was a beautiful video of how to properly correct….even though it was NOT Puka’s fault.

You just have plates to spare. This has been done before. Setting up a plate to fall so monkey gets scolded. Good solution? Stop putting fruits on plates and put them inside those plastic baskets in the kitchens

How scary it is when they are hungry, I can't imagine what will happen when they grow up. He will eat their heads. Puka 😂, 🐒❤️, is a cutie, but she has to hide some things. What mom does is not education. She needs to change tactics.
They usually forage all day long but puka has no access to foraging and so he is quite hungry. Plus the camera person watched the whole thing. As usual, this was a skit.
