I’m speechless
The song relates to me deeply in a personal way but not with a cheating romantic relationship, but with a friend of mine even if they are online friends. She think it's a good idea to leave me and my other friend because they think they found other better friends when things get rough and sweep the problems that are consulted under the rug. This isn't the first time they ditched a friend out of nowhere and then come back like it was nothing and honestly it was so painful I offered to help fix a relationship between them and another best friend of mine and all, when I asked them if being friends with both of them would change anything just because I chose to stay in the middle. She said I was still their friend before ignoring me completely for a month and then blocking me without a warning.
I decided to leave them for my sake of mental health plus they did technically leave me first but I truly hoped maybe one day they tell me why they did this why they thought it was a good idea to leave old friends in the dust for new ones. Honestly the friends I used to have caused a lot of drama internally and now has left me mentally and emotionally scarred. But the most painful one is the friend who I spent looking up to loving and caring about her for 4 years hurts the most. She was my first ever friend and I trusted her, but now it's gone. Me and my other best friend are now trying to support each other and help each other through this pain as well as other people congratulating us from escaping an abusive emotional cycle.
Since apparently our other friends have noticed this behavior from her from the beginning when me and my "first best friend" came into the picture in their lives. Even all the stupid things she's done honestly deep down i still love and care for her which hurts the most. I guess this song just helps me realize maybe sometimes relationships aren't just worth it depending what it is. If any of you find this song or this story relatable to you I just wanna say.
I'm sorry that you are going through this whether it's family, friend or lover or exes that betrayed you. There are many other people out in the world who would maybe some day become your new friend. It might seems hopeless now but there will be in the future. BTW if you are going through an abusive cycle from anybody I recommend getting out of there immediately. If you are worried you might be in and you aren't sure try asking others around you for their opinion if you know you can trust them. Usually outsiders can help you open up a new perspective of things. Otherwise trust your gut instinct if you have no one else around you.

Plot twist: Ela's parents are secretly rich and they didn't want Ela to date a "bad" person like Dan but they still dated secretly until Dan's best friend got jealous and told Ela's parents so they forced Ela to be together with the best friend? Ela then broke up with Dan but never told him why and Dan never knew about Ela's parents not wanting her to date him so he was angry. He thought Ela was cheating on him because he saw Ela's parents and the best friend kissing but Ela was just faking it so her parents wouldn't realise she was dating Dan.
Guys this is just a theory, sry if the characters are incorrect or the grammar is bad.
