56 year old woman presents with functional issues post weight loss.
Had gastric By-pass done 3 years prior.
162cm tall, 80 kg at consultation
130kg prior to her gastric sleeve
Gone from BMI of 50 to a BMI of 31
Overhanging skin (apron) gets rashes and fungal infections. The loose skin also limits her mobility.
Operation performed:
- Fleur de lis abdominoplasty with VASER liposuction
Amount of adipose tissue (Fat) removed with liposuction : 650 ml
Abdominal skin removed:
- Middle: 3474 grams
- Right Side: 864 grams
- Left Side: 883 grams
- Total weight removed: 5.2 kg
