  • Watch Mark do a makeover on young Zac's stall Manly 2095. Zac is only 12 years old and doing a great job but there's always room for improvement so Mark helps him do a simple makeover to his display. Harry adds some expert advice from the Wolf Bear Collective and established mens clothing label at the markets.

It's so very interesting watching your videos and all the great info. I noticed that some people have weights on their gazebo, each leg, sometimes 2 legs, and sometimes no weights at all. Everyone gives different advice and although I know I need weights, do you have any tips on which ones, or which legs to weigh down and if all legs aren't weighted down, do the people have emergency procedures for their individual setups if the wind picks up badly or the rain gets too bad.
I'm also interested to know your thoughts on the single umbrella setups

Hi I'm glad you have been enjoying the information I have been sharing. It's a good question regarding weights. Firstly everyone should have weights. The reason some have only 2 weights is the wind comes from one direction so they have them on the side where the wind is coming from. The people with no weights generally are the people who hang heavy products such as clothing onto the gazebo so this weighs the gazebo down considerably although I don't recommend this because it puts a lot of strain on the gazebo itself and I've seen them collapse under the strain. Some without weights are being stupid and lazy to be honest and I am continually reminding them. As I've tried to explain throughout all my videos to be a good and successful stall holder you have to do everything right including be safe.

Is this series over? I’m in the States and love this channel, but there hasn’t been a new vid for 6mos…

Hi Carlos thanks for watching our vids. After 12 months I felt I had covered all aspects of market life so I decided to take a break. I plan to start doing them again during summer.

@@ManlyMarketsThere are more things to show: I’d love to see “behind the scenes” of the contraptions people custom make for their stalls: Hanging clothes poles from the canopy, custom made fixtures.
I’d love to watch episodes devoted to just one vendor, watch how they interact, sales pitches, etc.
