I have been an animal jam TH-camr for years. And only recently did I start taking TH-cam seriously. I had other platforms in the past, but I was recently forced to change my channel for personal reasons and my safety. So what do I think about making content? I love it! Actually, it is one of my favorite pastimes. I have been an editor for many years, so I like to consider myself an above-average editor in regard to effects and all of that. It is refreshing to make content to see that jammers are laughing at the suitable scenes, are sad at the right moments, and are heard for their opinions! However, it is an anxiety-prone job. What I mean by that is that before a lot of us started making animal jam videos, we were kids at one point, too. And we made a lot of mistakes in the past that we cannot fix in the present. So, when you gain a following and realize that people know your name, jammers think it is appropriate to bring up past traumas and transgressions to strike a nerve. That is a bothersome fact, considering I walk around Jamaa sometimes, and I will occasionally see a jammer who recognized my OLD content from many years ago (I have a new channel now, mind you) and bring up the fact that I sucked at editing, or wasn't nice to them at one point. I say that if I offended anyone, it wasn't because I was cruel. I was a kid back then and I was still learning about the factors of fame back then. I have mistakes that I made back then that have followed me up until now. And that sucks because that anxiety never goes away. So, my BEST advice to give to ANY new animal jam TH-camr is to ALWAYS remind yourself that you are a human as well. These "fans" who down-talk you are there to witness a "never-before-seen encounter," and YOU do not deserve to be tied down to your past. If your motivation is to entertain people and make Animal Jam a better game to play, THEN BY ALL MEANS, DO IT! Never make content for fame, and never post anything you wouldn't want other jammers to see. :)

i'm still pretty young and i very much regret making content when i was under 10. i had my face and voice in most videos, i was too dumb to consider privacy other than the basics like don't share your address or full name, filmed a lot of irl videos and more. while i've taken some down by now, i just had so many channels that its likely there are still some floating around. thank u for the advice!! it is very helpful and i soon want to get back into making content in a much safer and more serious way :3

these tips are really helpful! ive been thinking of becoming a AJ youtuber but I was nervous if someone would "criticize" or "dislike" me for being a transmasc NB individual or my voice sounding "feminine" (even tho my voice is pretty neutral), but seeing how it doesn't affect you when someone says something stupid all because you're a trans man it really inspires me! (also, I don't have any problems with the ads, i hope you get the money for the therapy! rooting for you dude!)
Off topic but Archie is a really iconic character, whenever I see him on a video I click on it. I’ve always wanted to draw fanart of him but when I see fanart I see these nice headshots etc. I want to know what you picture Archie doing, and what kinda things you wanna see him drawn doing :)

I also use capcut to edit my videos and to make edits/intros! Question: some weeks i cant post and the weeks i do post i post alot but when i cant post i basicly have no new content and if people dont read my video titles that say " wont post for a week" they will prob think im inactive and unsubscribe, basicly im saying my schedule to post is very unplanned and wonky. Do you have any suggestions??
I don’t plan my uploads either!! Don’t panic too much about people unsubscribing. Mention it in your descriptions or community posts if you’ll take a break, and if people unsubscribe they probably wouldn’t have stuck around for a long time anyways 💜💜
