If that's the case, try and wait a little bit, do not rush to the location in the beginning of the raid. Its is perfectly fine to loot underground as if you are doing this quest you will need pretty much everything you can find there. Try simply waiting until its 15 or 10 min left in the raid and walk over there. There will be hardly any players left in raid if any... You should be able to complete it without to many problems. Both of these locations doesn't offer a good escape plan (Perfect design by Nikita to make new players suffer from day one) therefore if you find it difficult to fight your way out of there, avoid the fight. Don't be ashamed if you must do that every now and again.
AH PVE is slightly different. Instead of having to worry about real players, you have to fight the AI who are designed to not miss their shots... It might still work tho, as I remember there was a patch not long ago, and apparently AI will extract at certain time in raid. Definitely worth giving it a go. If you have to fight AI, always peek from right hand side as they will react slower, as well as once you will get your hands on grenades, smokes, flasbangs, use them before you peak.
