    Great video! Really informative going through the supermarket, I use fluoride free toothpaste so I better bring a bunch of them with me. So difficult to find an affordable apartment in the U.S. now, I hope it’s no problem finding one there. Thanks

      Finding an Apartment is Easy here, finding a Job is Impossible! But as long as you have some kind of income, then it is easy to Live here by US Standards of Living.

    I love the island, is it cheaper to live their than US?

    • @marksawesomeadventures
      @marksawesomeadventures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      YES! Living in Saipan is MUCH Cheaper than living in the U.S., in fact, I don't know anywhere in the U.S. you can rent a One Bedroom Apartment for $350 a Month. That's what I am paying now. It cost me about $500 a month Total with Utilities but that's for a One Bedroom Apt one Block from the Nicest Beach on the Island. I don't think you will find these kind of circumstances anywhere in the U.S. Do you know where in the U.S. you can get a Nice Meal at a Restaurant for Under $20? Even KFC Charges $20 for their Cheapest Selections. Here you can go to Dozens of Restaurants and eat for less than $20 all the Food I ate in my Video cost LESS than $20 most Cost only around $15 a plate, a couple were only $12

    some places id be interested in seeing on one of your videos are: golf course, marina, and places to live near the golf course and marina. Also local bike shop? wondering how difficult it would be to have a garden at a cheap rental/lease place. thx for the content, have fun..

      There are No Jobs, and No Women here, or Very Very Few, I Have no Job, and I have not had one Single Date Since I arrived her Two Years ago. So if you are Single with No Job, this is probably not the place for you.

    Mark, I love to be barefoot, can I do that or are there a lot of stickers?

    • @marksawesomeadventures
      @marksawesomeadventures  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can go barefoot on the Beach, but the pavement is pretty hot, it could burn your feet. Most people here wear Slippers.

    hey Mark way cool, I played in a band '76 Saipan for a year before moving to Tokyo, there were only a few hotels back then, we played at what is now Hyatt, daily JAL flights arrived 3 pm I met so many chicks, heartbreak hotel, used to fly to Guam in a Cessna on days off, in recent past 20 years a buddy of mine was IT head at a casino said it's all Chinese money laundry, a few Russian and Italian families moved there in '76 good guys great musicians, those day entertainment visa for Japan was 4-6 months so in between we' d play Saipan Guam HK Korea etc the circuit. in WWII my dad was in US Navy Battle of Saipan his job was try and stop Japanese from killing themselves jumping off cliffs. Japanese Imperial HQ knew we'd treat POWs humanely that would be bad for morale of J soldiers so ordered them to kill themselves rather than surrender. I used to sit on those cliffs and contemplate the stupidity of war.

    Great video Mark. Sounds like your marketing to an audience asking about apartment/home rental. Not many people in the US know Saipan exists unless you indicate Guam as neighboring island. Hearing about what is going on in the US is sad. Cost of living in US is so horrible that people are moving to Asia for affordable living. Saipan, Tinian or Rota has an affordable home/apartment/condo. US individuals should move here. It is an awesome place to live. It is quiet, laid back as you said, affordable and people are friendly here.
    Russian visitors end up staying here pretty long. Saipan has a great Visa program for Russians to stay as long as they want so they usually have a vacation home here. During winter season they reside here then end up heading back to there country.

    Are there farms on the island growing fruit?Is locally grown fruit cheap?Thank you

    • @marksawesomeadventures
      @marksawesomeadventures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, watch my 4th of July Parade Video, you can see the Farmers Floats with all the Fruits. The Farms are on the East side of the Island, they have a couple stands, on Saturday you can Buy Fruits at the Swap Meet, andthe Farmers drive around with Pickup Trucks and Sell the Fruits and Veggies in Garapan around Sunset time. And you can buy the Stuff in the Local Markets as well. We have lots of Locally Grown stuff here Fruits, Veggies, Cattle, Chickens, Pigs, Eggs, sometime the Local Grown Meat is more expensive because it is Fresh not Frozen. And we have some Local Fish too. Eggs are down to $3 a Dozen.

    Hey Mark do you have any videos on how n where to meet single women for dating in CK?

    • @marksawesomeadventures
      @marksawesomeadventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      To be perfectly Honest Saipan is not the place to come to Hunt for Women. Most College Girls leave the Island to go to College in the Mainland US, and many never Return, which leaves a Huge Deficit here in the way of Women. Combine that with the Fact that many of the Workers here in Saipan are not US Citizens, they are Immigrants from Philippines, China, Korea, mostly and mostly are MALE because they Work to send money back to their Family which makes it even harder to find Single Women here. Then you have the DIET that many of the Local people follow which includes Lots of Breads, Rice, Noodles, Pizza, and Sweets, and Chips, so many of the Single Girls are a little on the Thick Side if that's what you are looking for. If you are looking for Women, you might think about Thailand or the Philippines instead of Saipan. If I meet a Single Girl in a Week or even Two weeks I consider myself Lucky. I have been here for 9 months and I have not been on a Single Date. That's Reality!

    @9:59 the Normandy frozen veggies. That's a Costco Kirkland product. Buy at Costco and re-sell in the store. That's so Saipan. Lol. I can't remember the name of the place, but when I was living on Saipan a massage place along Beach Road offered me free 15 min shoulder/neck massages if I visited the place at a particular time on the weekends. The deal was that they wanted the foot traffic Japanese tourists to see an American walk in for a massage. Apparently this helped drive traffic to the business. I was more than happy to help. Nice video.

      Just call the Hospital and talk to them, they are the one's who have to Honor the Policy anyways so they should be able to tell you more than I can.
