Burgas will welcome the upcoming holidays with the most impressive Christmas tree in Bulgaria. Traditionally, the lights of the tree will be lit during the Nikulden celebration. At the same time, the lights of the festive decorations will also shine on the streets of the city.
The stylized tree has a height of 18 meters. It will be decorated with 9000 lights that will glow with different colors. Each of them can be controlled independently, and thus the tree will constantly change its glow.
Every evening during the festive December, the Burgas Christmas tree will be at the center of a light show combining music and light effects. With the automatic control of each of the lights, the tree will turn into a glowing screen on which different pictures will come to life. Such an art Christmas installation is being done for the first time in Bulgaria, the authors of the project explain.
In addition to the new type of Christmas tree, this year there will be other Christmas decorations on the main streets and pedestrian zones of Burgas. The pillars along Alexandrovskaya Street will be decorated with luminous wreaths. The garlands will glow with different shades of white and the Compass will be illuminated with multicolored lights.
