- Just a quick unboxing video for the new HD Pentax-D FA 21mm f/2.4 ED Limited DC WR lens in silver finish. I definitely expected this to be a much smaller lens, in line with the rest of the Limited lineup. It's huge.

OMG, what a beautiful-looking lens most attractive I have ever seen! The look and feel alone is worth the price tag...a piece of jewelry, thanks for sharing.
Thank you! Have you seen the full review? th-cam.com/video/vDpDIfCQ5E0/w-d-xo.html
Cannot wait for your review!
I’d like to see it focus past infinity that would be impressive!
Lots of lenses do that, but typically it's limited to third-party lenses that are made for many different mounts. Focusing beyond infinity simply means that nothing is in focus on the camera's imaging plane.
It looks about the same size as my Rokinon 20mm1.8 lens . The Rokinon is my low light lens as well as a street photography lens
That's a big lens, too.
It’s been 11 months now and I’m curious how this lens is working for you?
Very well. It's a staggeringly good lens. The full Round Glass Review is tentatively scheduled for 22 June 2023.
Hi! Will you be doing a review on this lens. I really like your reviews and trust your analysis. Cheers. Harry
I will be. :D It's tentatively scheduled for 31 July 2023, but schedules that far out can shift.
@@DavidHancock awesome can’t wait although wish it was much sooner ;)
Lokking forward your round glass review I am! ^_^
Thank you, Franceso!

I know. They did a great job on the design.

It is!
Not sure what this trend in honking big lenses is about....
I concur. I'd rather carry smaller lenses that weigh a lot less and have relatively insignificant trade-offs in image quality.
@@DavidHancock Nikons new Z 20mm weighs 17.9 oz and has a 77mm filter size just crazy.
