Found this song by accident. It was an ad while listening to some music with my significant other shortly after we met. The weird thing was, neither of us was looking for anything, and it just sort of happened. This song means a lot to us because we both thought we were too broken and damaged to find anyone.

Oh boy... your voice!! When I was married many many years ago, my husband used to sing to me. I can close my eyes and imagine him singing this and holding me like he used to before he left on deployment. When they were the good times, the good days. We both changed, as people often do, or I saw him for who he really was down deep, and I grew stronger than I ever thought I could be. But remembering the good times, the good songs, is what it's all about now. Thank you for bringing back those good memories, if only for a time. I hope to see y'all live one day, if you ever make it to Nebraska. :) If I can get a seat in the front row, you'll see a gal with red boots, a big smile, and possibly tears in her eyes.
