1) After he succeeded in his university exam, he had a great party on the beach. 2) I have three cups of tea at every breakfast. 3) My cousin and I had a great time in the amusement park. We all have had a rough time due to the pandemic. 4) Unfortunately, I have a cold, the flu and a terrible sore throat now. 5) While we are in the online classes, we usually have a problem with Internet connection. 6) The goverment especially the ministry of science, industry and technology has to have a solution with the Internet connection. 7) It's almost impossible to be successfull without having plans. 8) We had an meeting but it's been cancelled because the manager had an accident. 9) My best friend and I have a lot in common. 10) My little sister had a terrible nightmare yesterday and she told us she had seen monsters in her nightmare. I had an amazing dream yesterday and I was like in the heaven with a fantastic view. 11) After the match, the supporters of both team had a fight. I had an argument with my friend because he didn't make the right decision. 12) My uncle's wife is having a baby in a few months. 13) I have a feeling that she will deceive us. 14) We'd better have a look at the notes before the exam. 15) I have a bath every morning 16) After the lessons, I generally have a nap about 45 minutes. Jen, this is one of my anecdotes from when I was living in Canada: On one occasion I said: "I'm gonna have a shower"; a young native guy with whom I was talking said to me: "are you going to eat a shower?". I was puzzled! 🤢from that moment on, I've been using the words "taking a shower". Since then, I've heard some natives say "have a shower" also. So that boy, there is no doubt, was wrong, right? Now for the fist time, with your teaching, I can be sure that both ways are correct. Like take or have a nap... Thanks for your teaching. You made it very clear. 👍Wish you a nice weekend🌹

Although there are some differences in the use of have and take between Canadian and British English (I have heard British people say that they’re going to "take their breakfast", but in Canada we would only say 'have' or 'eat') Also, since this took place in Canada that doesn’t explain the situation or his incorrect correction.🧐 Please feel free to use 'have' or 'take' for showers, baths, or naps. 👍🏻 Have a great weekend!😎
