Hi guys. We are John and Zoe. We started our TH-cam channel in Aug 2022. We live full-time in our motorhome called Bertie. We have two gorgeous border collies with us on our travels. Hi John & Zoe.
We had the same issue with our dog. In September 2022, our dog had an op to remove a big tumour from her side. They could not remove all. Anyway, we understood we would have 6 months with her. However, nearly 1.5 years have passed, and she is still with us. Her body is full of lumps.
So we give her Metacam. This is a painkiller and slows down the growth of the tumour. It is given as per weight of your dog. I swear that this medicine has given our dog extra months. Has to be worth a try. ❤
Thankyou for this info its much appreciated. We talked to two vets about the operation but he said it has spread all o er her body and where the biggest tumour is its near her organs so he wouldn't operate as it would possibly kill her and wasn't worth the risk . We asked about treatment and he said just to let her live her best life . He actually filled up with tears for her 😢. Willl look Into what you have said tho thankyou so much xx
That brought a lump to my throat seeing you talk about Millie. She’s had a wonderful life and great time on the beaches of Spain but she’s gonna break your heart no doubt about it 😢. Xx

I think you did remarkably well going to Europe for 3 months driving all of those miles and getting by with not speaking the language. I hope you’re proud of yourselves. You should be. Not many people would have the courage to do it. I’m glad you will be traveling abroad again it does you the world of good so enjoy your life and make the most of it. See you in the next one. So sorry to hear about millie, I lost Ellie to liver cancer in November and I’ve shed tears everyday thinking about her, I’ve not been able to talk about it or make a video for my channel ever since, that little dog was my everything. I wish I’d known you were back in area but enjoyed your tour Zoe . I’m going to Europe for 3 months too on February 22nd, don’t be too jealous guys 😅, I just hope I have as good a time as you did. P.s I got me a puppy German shorthaired pointer called Rio, she’s driving me crazy but she’s adorable. All the best. Ian.

It's hard going, but I just keep thinking what a great life we have given her for 11 years. It would be great to meet up sometime now that you are just down the road from us. Hi guys, lovely vlog with the new camera. We had a plonker hit Foxy over Saturday night. We were meant to trade her in on Friday for our newer one. Gutted is an understatement at the moment. Lovely seeing the dogs playing. I'm very upset that Millie doesn't have long to go. Hope to see you if you come back to Skiningrove. As always safe travels ❤️

You are right about Border collies, our Sydney is such a lovely boy such a clever good boy. He was trained so well by his sister Belle, when we had to say goodbye to her it was so tough, at some point soon we will get him a new puppy friend and it will be a Border collie or a Borgi (Border collie/Corgi cross) such cute little things 😍 Keep giving Millie all of your love for next few weeks. I was the same John, nothing could replace Belle, i totally get what you are saying. Stay strong xxx

Hi Chris the vets was outside the Raco campsite on the row of restaurants. It was £25 Euros per dog plus rabbies injection which was an extra £30 euros
They speak good English and very friendly . It was so easy to get sorted. It was called Centro veternario Energy Vet

Good morning, nice to see the 4 of you again. Well done John for losing the weight - more than half a stone already 🥳 - you’re doing better than me, but I’m not giving up. Talking about Millie made me feel so sad - brings back sad memories. When the time is right, please, please, please get a rescue dog - dog rescues are overflowing 😪. It looks like you built a lovely house John - you should be so proud of yourself. Take care of yourselves and the dogs - and Bertie. 💕🐾💕🐾
Thanks Irene we would prefer to rescue one but it's not that easy. They have strict rules don't know if they accept we live in a mh. Hope your OK 🤎z
@@BertieBus I understand about the rescue requirements, some rescues are over cautious. We are fine, thanks, worried about one of our dogs though, started limping today - not wanting to put weight on his leg. They are a worry sometimes. It will be a resting day for him tomorrow - he won’t be happy 🙄. ❤️❤️
