I’m sure this is even more exhilarating than it looks, but I imagine you can only go the direction the wind is going. So what do you do when you’re done? Take an Uber back?
There’s actually a lot more freedom than you might think. Obviously you can’t go directly into the wind but depending on the shape of that strip of land and what direction the wind is actually blowing, he could possibly turn right around and go back or find another spot to cross back over.

You can move back "upstream" through the wind, you just kind of have to zig zag. Can't go directly against the wind but it's possible to move in that direction indirectly.
You can use the momentum of going down wind to zig zag and go in other directions I'd imagine

Oh hell nah I'm currently learning and it took me 1 or 2 weeks to go and come back without falling and that's not including all the timeni spent learning how to control the kite... even though it's really fun the equipment is expensive and there are a lot of things you need to learn for safety.. like what to do if the kite hits a boat or smth
The movement of flying and floating looks like something I have done in a dream it was awesome
U can just imagine me not knowing what to do and just flying out there in the sky, screaming for help
Trust me you don't fly up you get dragged and drink the whole ocean for a long time before you can release the kite
