As cool as sleeping amongst books is, it's nice to have a whole space to itself.
As someone who sleeps amongst books, I would love my own separate library room

It’s a luxury to be able to have a room just for books I think personally. My bedroom has no room for anything else but books and I love seeing them all the time but I do wish I had a room that had bookshelves on all walls, maybe a bookshelf island and a nice fancy leather recliner 😲 one day

@@rlstan963 same. I actually sleep on my books as I have a mattress platform that has shelves on it and as cool as it is I'd love a whole room for just books.
A small basket or small foot stool would hide the cords in that little area without blocking your other self. I like your creativity in your library. It’s fun to make the books feel like they’ve come to life with all the details.
Looking great! For the nostalgia nook with the extension cord, maybe a cat bed or a cute draught excluder would make that corner look fun without hiding the nook :)
Ooh for the classics shelf you can get rose string lights to compliment the green foliage. It will add colour and light and the light tends to be more warm and subdued compared to naked bulb lights

So, it would probably take more time then you wanna spend, buuuuut you could glue all the leaves together and sort of make a table runner/cloth type situation out of them. It’ll keep them from falling or the cats spiriting them away one by one 😂 I’ve got a mischievous cat myself and I know he’d have a field day hiding them from me.

I moved back in May and still have most of my books packed away in boxes because I need to get more shelves and rearrange some things, not realizing that I'm terrible at trying to decide which bookshelves I want to get but I'll get there....eventually.... Also, I love the names you chose for parts of your Library!

I'm currently sleeping in my library and I never want to leave. I'm fine with slepping on a wonky guest bed for the rest of my life just to be close to my books 😂 but the space problem for new books may get more problematic soon

Revenge of the Allen key! Just a quick tip if anyone has to build something with a lot of Allen key action, you can cut the curved part off and fit it into an electric screwdriver or drill like a drill bit. Definitely saved my hands when I had to put together a table and chairs for my kitchen.

Just an idea... would be different from fairy lights and it wouldn't necessarily be really bright and in your face 🤷♀️

Classics Corner, Nostalgia Nook are great but Graphic Novalcove, Middle Glane/Glade, Manga Isle (like Aisle) are my suggestions for names.

Ah! I love this room! ALSO what if you stuck tape on the back of the leaves to hold them in place but that way you can remove the tape if you ever wanted to rearrange or move them!

I CANNOT wait for you to read the danmei books. They tend to be considered "Light Novels" and tend to be marketed alongside manga and have deceptive cover designs that make them look like manga as well. MXTX is one of the best. I assure that Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation and Heaven's Official Blessing WILL break your heart. But they also have some great humor and awesome characters. Scum Villain is the funniest and the least heartbreaking but not quite as deftly plotted. I believe that was one of the first that MXTX wrote.
Just to enhance your One Piece manga display, for Arc's you have covered - Display the covers of Volume's 21 and 22 together. You will see it once you put them together but it's great for displays!
