The entire reason it’s good is that it isn’t what you think it is. She should react Series One style Murder Monsters before that one so she actually has expectations to subvert.

I'm quite fond of this one. Mostly because of how it makes a point of making it seem like the cognitohazard is actually injecting itself into the article. A lot of articles sort of vaguely allude to one but don't really attempt to make you feel any sort of danger when interacting with it.
It's quite a strong intro to the series. Hope you have fun with it.
I feel the countermeasures in the documentation were not enough to prevent exposure, and the scp is intelligent actively fought against the attempts to prevent exposure. And the end of the video just before the yearbook was said systems triggering attempts to override the exposures effects.
@@Skyte100 It has certainly broken through the protections to some degree. That's part of the reason why it has all those warnings at the beginning. Near the end it's hard to determine what is the hazard and what isn't.
@@LivingShdw while I can see how people mistake this SCP as some sort of a cognitohazard, in truth it's really not. That's just a cover-up by the Foundation to trick their personnel.
In actuality, those bodies in the water are real, and I do in fact recognize them, I remember all of their faces back in graduation of '97. They're calling to me, they're calling for you too.
Don't let the Foundation fool you. Your friends are calling for you, we need to save them.

I would recommend scp-3008 ikea and scp-1762 where the dragons went
Oh yeah, Distruption class refers to how much the anomaly could effect normal life, with "Dark" being the lowest and "Amida" being the highest. "Keneq", which is what SCP-2316 is, is the exact middle point of the disruption classification system

@@Taygon45it is optional for writers. It was made to combat misconceptions of the object classes being a sign of the danger of the SCP instead of the intended how difficult it is to contain it.
Like people thinking Keter means super dangerous when it really means. Super hard to contain or impossible and will result to alternate methods.

It feels like going down a rabbit hole 😅, but it's very fun so far
This is a pretty good choice for the first SCP to react to, as it doesn't really require any prior knowledge, but opens the path deeper into the rabbithole, especially because it is part of the "Class of '76" Series/Micro-Canon.
So this Scp is part of the series class of 1976 and the implications is that those scps are an result of prior K-Class scenarios.

This is one of the weirder ones for a first go. If your on board here, Paws, then your in for a lot of fun. The rest are generally a little more structured. Oh and I know I mentioned it on the last one, but Endless Ikea is one of the classics.
SCP 3008, infinite Ikea is a fun one
Although I may recommend checking out SCP Explained's video first then going back to the Volgan
The Explained video is told from the perspective of someone trapped in the Infinite Ikea, while Volgan's video is from the perspective of the SCP Foundation analyzing the Infinite Ikea
Similarly with SCP 2662, Cthulhu, HIGHTLY recommend watching the SCP Explained video on it instead of the Volgan's video.
There is a subversion of expectation in the Explained video that's really amusing that you don't get by just listening to the SCP entry for 2662
Since you did this one, I recommend the class of 76 it’ll give you some context that will also leave you more confused
I really liked SCP 354 the red pool.
The exploration logs from it are one of my favourites, only beaten by the Red Sea object logs.

I recommend 173 its a vary good starter 096 is also but theres a short movie around too if tou want to see the passion of this community and the yule man or the aristocrats will show you a bit how dark these scp can get

One of my personal fav's is SCP-2845 (The Deer)
Though i would recomend "The Exploring Series's" Vid on it,for it is somewhat criptic and he does a good job explaining the more esoterical elements and there use.

Good SCP To watch if you wanna see another Cognitohazard is SCP-096 or there is also SCP-3008, aka Ikea
Im pretty shure that SCP-096 isn't actually a Cognitohazard but i see were you comming from. But it's a great recommendation nonetheless.

SCP-001: memento mori by the exploring series. It's my favorite because it is more like a tale. It doesn't require a whole lot of knowledge to enjoy

Keneq, the known or potential disruption would be extended to a number of people roughly defined as a small city. The anomalous effects could spread with fairly significant speed, fast enough as to cause concern. The foundation would find it moderately difficult to neutralize its effects.

The Class of 1976 was caught up in a previous K-Class scenario resulting in the end of mankind.
As a result the SCP Foundation had to Activate the Facility under Yellowstone National Park to rebuild the world and bring everything back to normal like nothing ever happened.
The Class of 76 is the Ghosts of the Students in the previous human population on earth.
Another good scp to do for newbies is scp-049. It’s a good example of how scp isn’t purely focused on horror
If it didnt make sense, the reason the video shows the viewer got trapped in the genjutsu is cuz the guard in the recording says the name.of the high school. Remember, all it takes for cognitohazards is to be aware of them to get caught.

Ahhh yes, when they tried to change how SCP naming system worked... that didn't work out... was a weird time.
This is why the SCP universe os one of the worst fictional verses to be stuck in. Even less powerful SCPs can cause so many problems and suffering.

I found it more interesting/fascinating rather than scary. Although I understand why it's a Keter and I am starting to like cognitohazards now ^_^
@@pawsvtuber There are a few SCPs that are usually suggested early on, including SCP 173, SCP 096, SCP 682, SCP 294, SCP 1048, and SCP 999.
SCP 173 was the first SCP ever created, and is frequently referenced in other entries, so if you could react to that next I would appreciate that.
