Every male character in anime that tries to be Tarzan ends up being George of the Jungle and slam into trees. If there's one thing I dislike in anime it's female characters being untouchable and Nami is one of them.
So the crew consists of: -A care-free guy -A swordsman with no sense of direction -A golddigger -A Lara Croft -A fancy cyborg who cares about his looks -A shapeshifting reindeer for a doctor -A skeleton swordsman with bad skeleton jokes -A perverted cook who doesn't skip leg day -A long nose sniper
I love the Skypiea arc. Sure, the story progress was slow. But it had this sense of adventure, mystery and intrigue that's been missing for a while - and I miss it. I didn't like this arc as a child, but as I grew older, I appreciate how Oda took the time to really expand on this whole different culture of Sky Island and told it's history. The main villain was badass too. Ennies Lobby was Oda at his best. Skypiea I feel is under-appreciated a bit. Plus, there were a lot of funny moments.
It is my favourite arc. How they have to use the Knock Up Stream, the history of Calgara and Montblanc Norland, Wiper (such a badass character quite forgotten), the Survival Game, a time when haki was something mythic...and this hilarious moments, of course. It is the most special arc for me by far.
Same here. I used to dislike it when I was a child since I couldn't comprehend some parts of it. And wishing that it'll end soon and move on to another story/arc but as I've rewatched Skypeia once again when I'm older I actually enjoyed the whole arc. It has its own charm especially about the history of the whole island and Noland's story. I remembered when I was a child I almost cried when no one can beat Enel but I became at ease after I saw Enel's reaction when his devil fruit didn't worked out with Luffy. Up until now that was one of my favorite iconic face of Luffy's antagonists.
I feel like this zoro, aka the goofy one is still there. But since it’s the new world and he was training with Mihawk he needs to be more serious for future battles. Especially now since they’re in the new world fighting yonkos.
Just like their love of robots and ninjas, every man will always wait for the day they can properly swing from a vine and scream like Tarzan. It's a law of nature.
I love how Zoro is this badass and serious swordsman, but throughout the series he has moments like this, that far from feeling forced or awkward, they feel like something the character would genuinely do. I love Zoro XD.

the fact that luffy is also doing the same thing as zoro in different place lol great minds think alike. even if they get separated they still sharing the same brain cells.

I love moments like these with Zoro he’s been so serious ever since Alabasta and didn’t even cry at the end of Enies Lobby, those of who have seen Enies Lobby know what I’m referring to. This shows you his more funny and softer side.
