Summon Elemental Herald is a favorite, basically a classic Final Fantasy summon spell with some nice versatility!

“Needle Darts” is fantastic on my Druid! He has metal gauntlets (“Free-Hand” weapons, that satisfy the “metal in hand” PFS requirement) that he raises, twists his wrist while pointing, and then he gives a little whistle as 5 “Yaka Arrows” ooze off of my pointed finger. They fly out to the target, hopefully go through said target, and then fly back to my outstretched hand (palm out) and thip-thip-thip-thip-thip back into the gauntlet. (Whistling isn’t needed but Yondu would be proud!)
The “free-hand” weapon trait allows me to cast Slashing Gusts with 2 slicing ripples, doing more damage than Electric Arc at twice the distance.

Timber "knocks someone for a loop". They obviously had fun writing these spells and i love it

Looking forward to playing a Sorcerer that, if at critically low HP and surrounded, can cast Phoenix Ward and then use Quickened Casting to immediately drop a heightened Fireball on their own head.

It may be the pf1e player in me but wooden double falls short of being good imo.
The movement needs to be further to be a good defense spell. As it is. It’s just a neat reference.

A Step is really good against a melee opponent. It means they cannot attack you with their next action. So, if they already moved to get to you, they can't hit you again.

@@centurosproductions8827 i understand that but wwhat if there is no help coming for round after round. you gotta keep moving to not get hit, maybe even using all your actions being chased until your teamates finally decide you are worth supporting? (ive been in some selfish groups or groups that just did not like my character) more distance so i can cast against the threat please.

From what I've seen, the new spells are quite cool. I'm no player so I only glanced at them, but I've been pleasantly surprised nonetheless.
My only pet peeve, is how Glass Shield wording can be confusing, as to how it actually interact with the shield spell: As the wording is basically "use the shield wording", it's a bit unclear if you can use shield after a glass shield got destroyed (or vice-versa).
Didn't check online yet for clarification tho.

I’ve only really skimmed through the spells, but so far they seem to be, on average, more interesting and fun than straight up good. Whether that is good or bad will obviously depend on the person evaluating and also include factors like campaign type. But really, I consider that to be PF2e in a nutshell. Personally I really like most of them.
Do you think Buoyant Bubbles is headed for eventual errata? As is, you one-action, no save any enemy to the surface for a minimum of 1 round. A caster on the surface can do this to a creature as deep as 30 feet, or 60 feet if the caster has the Reach Spell metamagic feat. I’ve seen speculation that it will receive the “1 willing creature” descriptor in the Target section. But I don’t know.. Given that it does provide a Fort save in subsequent rounds, I think it’s also meant to be an offensive spell. If it does see Errata, my guess is instead of a willing target, they provide any unwilling target an initial Fort save.
