I 100% agree with you on number 4. The trendy items come and go quickly. That's not to say you shouldn't make it if it's requested, but you have to have a customer base that knows you can do more than that. A lot of times with trends it's very easy to get priced out of customers. Some people will do the trendy things cheaper just to get the temporary customer. You want to get the customer that is going to continue to return because they know you can provide quality items for their business or family.
I agree with what you said. I will try to remember them. I’m just starting out in the business. I must admit I get a little nervous sometimes because I wanna give my all in each piece I complete. Love sewing and I have fun with it. I think that’s very important as well.
When i started my business, it skyrocked the first 3 months, then the economy hit and i've been fighting to stay alive for 2 years! but im not gonna give up! have i been fighting for 2 years then i can fight for another 2!
@adubbproductions some times they call asking where my shop is (I think they expect to see a commercial building) so I tell them,. Anyways they will find out when they go to dropp off the garments.
I can’t stand trends I’ve always been the opposite guy even when I did music I was always the guy that didn’t sound like what was going on,I follow my own path and I get praised for being different
@@adubbproductionsright I e always been this way since a kid,ppl look at me crazy and years later they would say oh I get it now,I’m from Detroit and when I was doing music heavy in the late 90s early 2000s I got the same looks from rappers doing the studio sessions, now with the clothes it continues I’m going opposite everyone else and I get the looks and words like:”oh that’s hot right now you should do what such and such does”

In my case I get calls but I think people go away when I tell them I work from home.
Why are you telling them that? You can be honest without disclosing certain information unless it’s specifically asked.
