Look .. We defined S which is infinite set and then we defined t which is finite and it took some elements of S, as it is finite so it will have upper bound or lower bound (depends on the side we took) then we have shown.....that particular supremum / infimum is the limit point because it contain infinite number of elements of S in its neighbourhood

Its not about 'l'... Other than l there should be points which are contained in set. ..so that we can call 'l' as a limit point of the set
