I find her idiosyncratic singing style so beautiful and engaging. Her phrasing is gorgeous. We lost Christina far too young. I’d love to have heard her do an album of covers/standards-breathing new life to others’ work. Thanks for posting this.
This is a great track from the Divinyls but this song was better covered by the Prentenders. Chrissy Amphlett is a great vocalist but Chrissie Hynde's vocals are much more compelling.
Its been so hard to listen to this album as its not on many streaming platforms, alongside some What A Life! songs, so thank you for posting this!!
Excellent song and vocals
I have this album on CD and I quite like it, but why isn't this album on Spotify? They have other Divinyls albums, not this one.
Came to this clip for that same reason - not on Spotify
Same!
Not on Apple Music either! Whyyy?? And I can’t find the CD anywhere for less than $50. Wow. $81.95 on eBay.

I think its because it wasn't released to the US? For all the other albums, they used the US versions of it, so that's my theory.
great stuff
beautiful
Perfection
serious good just waiting on a friend comparison s.
I'm not certain but I think it has something to do with the Pretenders as their version is on Spotify, this is a much better version
Sorry but totally disagree the pretenders is a much better version

As a massive Pretenders fan, this one hits differently. Especially since she's gone. Always wish I knew the guitar part.
The original, right??
Correct. Pretenders did a cover version which was pretty good as well.

No way. This is superior.
She is missed.
