It would have been nice if Nintendo would have made every last stage available for people to download so they could play offline if they had the means to. I would love to have the potentially millions of stages downloaded and be able to select whatever stage I want, put it over to my wii U, and then just play it. It's a shame that all of these stages are lost to history now. All that hard work people put in is now useless.
It's sad when you think about it.

If so, good on them, we need someone to preserve these online experiences when the devs want it to be erased from existence. Level creation in a way, is art, and my opinion is art must be preserved.
