For me Chromeo gives me feels somewhere between the best afternoon backyard gathering with the first person you ever loved somewhere in the valley, and DFA playing a bunch of Gap Band tracks for you while you get ready to go out. Please pass the mac and cheese. :)
I was listening to this at work and I got up and left my desk for a minute and when I came back So Electric was playing and I was immediately utterly confused because the idea that a band I like would also like a song I like but which I was sure no-one else knew about (somehow) was so outlandish my brain stopped working.
Then I got it, and was delighted. Floor to ceiling this was just great.
