Man talk about a great review, Told me everything I needed to know and more. Keep up the great work! you just earned another subscriber!
@ darn typos. He’s my great inspiration for all I do. Also, that video was so informative and in depth! How the heck you covered everything I’ll never understand. Great work.
Wow. We need a new term for "in-depth." "In-depth" does not do justice to the level of complexity you've dealt with in this review. Thanks for taking the the time and applying your level of expertise to this analysis.
I really appreciate this comment, more than you can ever know lol. The editing alone took me about a week to put together. I think i recorded the tests about 3 times before i could settle for what you're seeing here and i'm still not 100% happy with it. I'm happy the effort it recognized though!
Do you own a Presonus studio live interface/mixer/stagebox? They come in 16, 24 or 32 channel. All 3 models have the exact same functionality. Im having a hard time finding videos on how to use one as an interface with GarageBand. If its doable, I want the 32 channel so that I can have more channels into my mac mini without need for aggregation, adat or dante connections. Im told that its flawless on a windows machine with studio one. But someone online said using the presonus wasnt intuitive on Mac.
I dont own any of them but i have used previous gen. I was originally going to pick one up as a controller but wound up just going with their fader port, which i still am using. (2 of them one single channel In the live room and the 16 channel in the ctrl room) Once the device is available for use in the system, the i/o should just appear in garageband. My protools rig shows up as 48 in/out. When i hook up other interfaces they just need to be selected in the hardware settings. Presonus seems to be pretty solid on either platform but i definitely get the feeling they geared themselved heavier towards the PC market.
