In my opinion just make some chords, a melody and a counter melody from there. You can layer the chords first 8 and take out a layer the 2nd 8, Add effects like portal to the second 8, add a filter 2 the second 8, reverse the 2nd 8, add the melody to the 2nd 8, throw it into the slicer n flip the melody, chords or counter melody like a sample. its so many ways to make a 16 bar loop easy but dnt be focused on that bc sometimes its not even necessary bc if you add enough variation to your beat arrangement you wont need it. just be creative
