@ the uk you SHOULD get 40 weeks but you need to put in for it early, because her IP backed out late into the pregnancy and she had held off putting in incase she changed her mind she didn’t have any leave plus she hadn’t worked there a year so I doubt she would have been eligible
A lot of women in the US sadly don't have the luxury to get off work to prepare for the birth of their baby. And after the birth, some jobs don't even offer paid maternity leave, so the next day they're back at work just trying to get the next paycheck.

DS is genetic and can cause premature birth. And it wasn’t her call the baby was originally a surrogacy situation.
Down syndrome is not a death sentence btw. Maybe you should just not have kids
They already knew the baby had trisomy 21 and then the baby was born premature🤦🏻♀️ you don’t think a baby deserves life just because of a disability?
