I pulled my Chantecaille foundation out last week and I fell in love again. So beautiful and yes last 12 plus hours. I haven’t tried that Chanel foundation. But I love Chanel foundation too. Their is a slight difference, Chantecaille looks a little more natural they both look amazing.
Amazing review! I have the Sublimage but I have been eyeing Chantecaille. I think I'm sold now on picking up Chantecaille based on the longevity! I find sublimage's coverage tends to reach its peak at the 8-9 hour mark, personally. This is one of the best comparison reviews, thank you so much!!
I am more on the dry side so I love the chanel option. Chanel blends out like butter for me, but still looks like I have on makeup. The chantecaille gel is oil free I believe and it is a bit drying for me. But I do use it and it gives more natural like maybe tinted moisturizer or sunscreen look for me. Great video! ❤
I got it wrong! I thought the Chanel was on the right (from my looking at the screen perspective). I love your comparison videos like this! I want to find a Chanel foundation to be my “holy grail” but there are so many to choose from. This is very helpful. Thank you!
You’re so welcome! I’m thinking about doing a video on all my Chanel foundations, but wasn’t sure if it would be content people would want to see. I just might reconsider it based on your comment. 😊
@@GlamGirlChelsea Yay! I understand you have to invest your time and energy on things that people want to watch. Maybe you could do a poll here. I personally would love to see it. ☺️
Thank you for doing this video! I've been wearing the Chantecaille foundation for about two years & it's a favorite. I also wear Banana, so I instantly knew it was on the left side of your face. I got a sample of the Sublimage Foundation a few months ago to do this same comparison. The Sublimage was in the wrong shade, but I was able to judge the formulation & wear. I quickly discovered that it was not for me. Actually, I prefer the No 1 Foundation to the Sublimage. That stuff is magic in a bottle! Both sides of your face looked lovely, but there's just something extra in the Chantecaille. 🥰
I need to try the Chantecaille foundation! Both are beautiful but it looks like Banana would be a good match for me. I’m around a NC 45.5-46 in MAC Studio Fix.
Awesome comparison. Thank you so much. I think both look beautiful on you. I keep looking at the Chanel but just haven’t pulled the trigger lol. I have the concealer and I like it, although I think I needed a shade lighter but I make it work. I had looked at one time at the Chantecaille but didn’t really see a shade for me. Maybe I’ll take another look.
If you contact Chantecaille customer service, they will send you samples of their foundation. Maybe do that to help you see if you have a shade in their foundation.
Looking absolutely fabulous dear friend!!! And wow, another hairstyle, love this one as well!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩Chanel Sublimage is the only Chanel foundation i can handle with my quite sensitive skin, also use more that Chantecaille one, for the reaons you also mentioned! Sublimage is thick, it's quite a layer of stuff on the face, no matter how beautiful it is! It's not full coverage indeed. I just love how you explain foundations!!! Sublimage is indeed an autumn/winter friend, or when needing the airconditioning more, it's even more fulll than my Suqqu jar of foundation. Also very well loved and often used: that concealer (hate the stupid jar) from Chanel Sublimage, bought shade 10, it's a bit light now, even i have a tiny little bit tan dear, yes me, a little little bit, after being away a week here in the country with hubby! But this stuff is so good, i consider to splurge another 100 euro's (it's only at the Chanel website so never reductions) on that great concealer in colour 20, cause it's simply amazing! And the Chantecaille in the jar is cooling and easy to build up, love to do that with my BK 101, even the Chanel, with another foundation brush, also love the Sonia G, forgot the name, it's short, a sort of holiday/vacations size, hairs blended natural/synthetic. But love to learn from you how you do this, with a puff from Danessa Myricks!!!! Sending you lots of love, have a great evening!!!😘😘😘😘😘😘
@@GlamGirlChelsea yes the jar is not user friendly, but the product, dear Chels, is amazing, applying with sponge, with fingers, setting, not setting, i can choose myself. Only when i want complete full coverage i mix the Huda with the Lancome on my hand after prepping eyes good, this concealer is medium, maybe a bit medium plus with more layers and has a lovely, not to much glow!
IMO - I have heard that Chantecaille gel foundation is somewhat patchy or not consistent results. But, I live in a hot, humid climate, and do not like the feel of a heavy face foundation texture against my skin. What do you all think?
Either side is beautiful, GGC. But, is a little something extra special in the Chantecaille side 🥰. OT: Do you know if the Haus Labs Le Monster Lip Crayon is worth the purchase? TFS❤️
I think the Chanel may be close to Suqqu’s cream foundation from what I can see here. That’s my favorite cream foundation but they need to do better with shades. I need to try Chanel foundations. Never have. I wasn’t a fan of chantecaille it seemed drier compared to Suqqu (maybe due to the thinner consistency
Hey beautiful!! Yes! I absolutely love “Chante’”! LOL I like how the Banana shade looks on you-you’re my shade twin. Lol I love how golden it is compared to the Chanel version. I use the “Chante’” on my clients and they absolutely love it. It lasts all day and actually can build to an “almost” full coverage if you use the BK Beauty 109 Mini Contour brush. Sooo good!!
Love this video! You are gorgeous. Please do a favorite foundations and concealers of all time video!
Thank you! And that would be a great video!

Yes! The Chantecaille foundation is just amazing all the way around.
I have both and Chantecaille is superior in my opinion it’s so light bed looks like second skin even when you layer.
Stunning! I have the Chantecaille and will add Chanel to the shopping list. Thank you for the video.

Great video! If you have to repurchase the Chanel, do you have to repurchase the brush, too? Or is there a refill that's cheaper?
I don’t think there is a refill.
Hi!!! New subscriber here ✋🏿 I think the Chanel side looked beautiful but considering the price difference, i also prefer the chantecaille 👌🏿

Looking at you the left side looks like Chanticalle the right side looks like Chanel, which would be opposite for you i guess
I'm surprised that this looks cohesive considering how different the shades look on your arm.
your left side - Chantecaille your right side - Chanel
