- 👋 HighGrounders, welcome to Part 2 of the Baja Series. It's a little longer than I hoped but I'm seriously proud of the quality of this video. I feel that it is an authentic storyline, where I speak to the experience genuinely and share not only how I was feeling at the time, but also the thoughts for better or worse. Something I want to say is that Baja Mexico is an incredible safe location. I thought about leaving out the parts about the cartels but this was genuinely what happened while I was there, how I felt and the actual thoughts and feelings that went through my head at the time. I wanted to show this not to paint a picture of Baja or to fake serious danger, but to reflect the real world experience I had and the process I went through to overcome my fears and keep the rally going. To me, this is what my channel and my life is about. The world can be a hard and cruel place, but we have to have the courage to explore and not let the fears of others become ours else we will not make it past midnight. I hope you enjoy the story as much as I enjoyed the trip and don't forget to follow over on / highgroundbynightfall

Yeah, I can't really take credit for that. I never thought I'd see something more beautiful than what we have here in BC but that last section on the way out to the spot was just mind blowing and I'm so glad the footage worked out the way it did.

Man I forgot to recommend a spot to camp there.. next time try El Punto Final. It's beautiful and alone with plenty of clams to eat.

Thanks for the recommendation! Part 3 goes live tonight at 7pm. I drove the entire way back north in Part 3 and actually stopped in Punta Final my last night in Baja after I saw Marco's video about it! It was beautiful!

You should get GAIA GPS Premium and get Baja map by National Geographic and you gonna know where exactly you are … very good video be careful driving at night 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻 and happy birthday 🎈🎉🎊🎁🎂
I use Gaia exclusively but never thought to look for this layer. Very cool. Don’t worry, I wasn’t ever truly lost. It’s just hard to navigate the washes sometimes as there are so many trails going every which way in the desert.
