Nope...I've always referred to it as ''Marvelous." In 2011, my wife and I attended a wedding in southern France, and after the wedding, we rode the train to Paris and then on through the ''Chunnel" into London, where we had many things to take care of.....including a lifelong dream of mine.....visiting Stonehenge. I was stunned by this train, as it sped at several hundred KPH....America has a whole lot of catching up to do. BHE

Mr. Holland aka measlandkering 😉 yeah the entire thing has quite a famous name in foreign countries, being called the barriers to the sea. And it’s the biggest undertaking known to mankind since it spreads throughout the entire country 😇
It seems like you have a misconception about the Delta- and Zuiderzee works and polders. Polders are pieces of land land that were once flooded (by either the sea or lake), and were drained. This process started way back in 16th century. The Delta- and Zuiderzee works were a response to the North Sea flood of 1953.
Hey Solar-Punk here. There have been discussions about rebuilding the Colossus of Rhodes- The giant statue of Helios and covering it in solar panels to collect energy for the local area! Im 1000% behind this idea. This is me manifesting! lol
The Statue of Liberty?- Has been done before with the colossus. The World Trade Center?- Why? Plenty of large buildings have been built. The statue of rio- Probably same reason as the statue of liberty.
@@cedriclopes4737 back in the day the colossus was a wonder because of the limited technology there was. Making something like that today isn't a small feature, but not that impressive either. The last one in the video is a combination of 2. The Zuiderzee works claimed 1600 km2 (618 mil2) land from the sea. The other is a combination of storm surge barriers and such, which also consists of the world largest robot (multiple Eiffel Towers big). Statues of liberty and Rio could be considered wonders of the industrial era, just lik the Eiffel Tower.
I thought Niagara Falls was considered one of the seven world wonders. I didn't know about ancient, middle ages and The Modern Era. I thought it was just seven wonders and that not everyone agreed on every one of them. Like I heard the Great Wall of China was one and The Babylon Hanging Gardens, The Collescium, The Pyramids, and I thought one was Hoover Dam, and Taj Mahal. So I guess I'm pretty misinformed.
I live fairly close to San Fransisco, but have only driven over the GGB once. It was insane to me how close all the cars were passing each other. It seemed like you had inches between each other, with people driving at way too regular city pannick speeds. If you know, you know. It stressed me out.
I met my future wife in 2008....she lives about 110 miles north of San Francisco while I lived in the Monterey Bay area....210 miles apart. So, until just recently, we lived 210 miles apart with San Francisco about midway between us. So, for 14 years I have routinely traveled over the Golden Gate Bridge. Over time, the toll was structured several different ways, but finally ended up with a high toll going south and NO toll going north. So, for 15 years, I went over the GGB when going north (NO toll in that direction) then, crossed over the bay onto the Richmond/San Rafael Bridge when going south (NO toll in that direction) While going over the GGB, I couldn't help but think about my father, who helped construct the bridge in the late 30's when it was built....he was a combination cement mixer and lookout guard with binoculars watching for prisoners escaping nearby Alcatraz. About three months ago, both of my adult sons rented a moving van and moved my shop and etc and so, now as I am fast approaching 84 and I no longer have to make that drive....and, in the moving process, gave my youngest son my final motorcycle.....which I often had used to use to cross the bridge. And, also, just FYI, I've always stayed in the right hand lane so I was never less than two feet away from oncoming traffic, which always seemed to me to be speeding....and, I'm in NO hurry to get across the bridge! .....except to get to the restrooms on the north side as the onrushing traffic always seemed to scare the everliving bewaddling out of me! BHE
Can I request for your next video sir? Can you make a video about all wonders of the world including what they comment so that they will not complain. haha
Eiffel tower was never a wonder. Taj Mahal is part of the new 7 wonders which is a combination of wonders from different times. Meanwhile this list is the wonders of the 1900s and was made by a company.
That wouldn't really be considered to be the modern world but is still widely recognized as one of the top wonders for it's design and reflection pools.
It only counts as a wonder if the creation of a building can't be explained really and remains a mystery to this day. All of the listings in this video are impressive but no "wonders".
