Very interesting to look at our hometown through a foreigner's eyes. Sometimes we just take things for granted and don't appreciate them as much as we should. Also, congrats on the quality of the shots, they look really professional!

My dad's house is a 10 minutes drive from the tapioqueiras. Love it! For people with a sweet tooth, the coconut and condensed milk tapioca is the way to go for dessert. :)

Its full of crafts and handmade goods. We always go there when we visit. Also, one of our favorite restaurants is Carneiro do Ordones. They have some of the best baiao de dois, which is a dish unique to this region.

In December we went to Aquiraz, Canoa Quebrada then inland to Quixada which is like in a desert with rocks and then to Baturite and stayed on a mountain in a tropical place with waterfalls. Then went on to celebrate new year in Cumbuco. Whole of January we stayed in Praia do Futuro. Also went to beach park. I had the chicken hearts at Turatti, didn’t like it very much 😅 but the beer is always good there.
This is Sumner. Nope, never assaulted or robbed. It is statistically dangerous (specifically for thefts and homicides). I, personally, don't feel that unsafe in Fortaleza but I'm very careful. If you're thinking about visiting Brazil definitely check out Florianopolis.
It depends of the area you visit in Fortaleza. Places like Meireles,Aldeota,Coco and Beira Mar are the richest places of the city or the "noble areas", with high infrastructure,police patrow,etc... The cases of murder it happens most commonly in the suburbs of the city,far away from the "noble areas". One of these dangerous places: Pirambu,Barra,Bom Jardim,Alto Alegre,Vila Velha and more. These areas are under control of the Mobs. And about the thefts,well, it happens in any city of the world. Edit: my english is not so well, I hope you understand it LOL.

I'm from Fortaleza and I think the LGBT community is pretty large over here and the population isn't homophobe as a whole.
