Las Marias Orange Festival | Festival de La China Dulce | March 2024 | Travel Puerto Rico

Las Marias, Puerto Rico is known as the “Pueblo de China Dulce” for the abundance of sweet oranges grown in the cool mountains of the area.
The annual Orange Festival in Las Marias is a 3 day event of food, music, entertainment, and artisans held in the middle of March. Located in the town center of Las Marias, this family friendly event is well organized and very popular!
As this is the Orange Festival, there is fresh orange juice and beverages, orange pique hot sauce, and orange desserts! Most artisans and food vendors accept ATH Movil and cash, with only a few accepting credit cards for payments.
The best orange cake (Bizcochos de china) and cheesecake is from my friends at Bizcochos la Fe.
There is a massive covered tent area packed with artisans selling jewelry and accessories, leather goods, carved wood, and more.
Away from the main stage is a small amusement park with carnival rides and a wooden plank carousel.
