Streets of Japan is the name of this set. As a Subaru collector, I had to get it, and I feel the BRZ is one of the best in the packs. Pink just pops, I think the Mazda really captures the era of that car in that color.

Ive been getting these silver series for years, theyre called Matchbox lol....but seriously asking yourself, "do i like this enough to want to add it to my collection" can go a long way in an age of hype and scarcity. Great thoughts, gained my sub, feel better soon!

I totally get the setting up boundaries on purchasing everything, it’s just not sustainable for the most part. Now I have a ? On your perspective of the tampo / livery graphics on the Silver label. I believe that certain premiums are worth the extra cost but I’ve heard that the mid level (Silver) has a much better and sharper image than the (gold) and that for whatever reason the newer premium castings often times the graphics are very pixelated. That being said, would it be better to collect the mid level and if need be just swap out the wheels for Real Rider/rubber tires. I understand, that only certain castings on the silver sets have metal bases and that also plays into quality. I’m really trying to be more selective with my choices but damn if Mattel don’t make them choices complicated 😅

Get some shelf grip liner for the turn table. Works great. Walmart has it cheap and many colors to choose from 👍👍

Yeah the other cars haven't been released as not premium cars before. They are all premium cars normally before they eventually become non premium cars.

Placing a rubbery type bump on the platform might help. I'm thinking of those furniture grippy pads by 3M or Scotch from the hardware store; the base of the car would be bottomed out on it preventing roll aways. Thanks for the video. Also I've seen some of the Silver series do have plastic bases, which is disappointing.

On second thought, a small glob of dried hot melt glue would be simpler.

Probably not, just like ultra hotz are not. Tampo. Removed with dry erase marker.
