If McLaren gets in I would guess the W1 may be the basis to race in the FIA WEC Hypercar series, which includes the 24 hours of Le Mans. @XxApo70xX The V10 in the Solus GT was developed by Judd. If they don't use their regular twin turbo V8, then Judd will most likely develop the engine.
Hard to tell but there's probably a number of factors: one the actual successor GMA and their own T50 which is closer to the true follow on of the F1 than the Speedtail coming out at roughly the same time which has the same basic drivetrain as the 720s and the Senna: a twin turbo V8 with hybrid assist and dual clutch 7 speed auto 'box rendering it actually far closer in concept to the P1 than the F1. Or even the unique almost alien external styling of the car which was and still is quite out there. It's a shame, I feel the Speedtail flew under the radar in many ways and wasn't given it's respect that it should of had.
Prob. bec. the Speedtail was more for top end speed and not really for driving dynamics. The 1 successor should also be fast on a track as well not just top speed.
