Since the old railway lines were opened as walking/cycling trails it appears to have spread this plant along the way. There are a few plants in the town where I live, but they still tend to be scarce. Every time I hear the name Burdock I think of the drink Dandelion and Burdock, but as to whether these plants are actually used today in its making, I'm really not sure. Take care.
Great video Chris, good stuff. Oddly enough, there are very few Greater Burdock around where I live in Lancashire, I never see them. Last one I remember seeing was on the cut bank about 25 years ago! I will keep my eyes peeled from now on and look a little harder. Love the music by The Free Radicals also. Keep the motors runnin mate. Grahame.
Greenlife Gardens Gardening Services Cheers Grahame :o) Yes, I think in the UK Greater Burdock is pretty common from the South up to the Midlands, but then starts to get a bit more scarce. I expect there's other interesting plants further North that we don't get down here - although climate is changing, so Burdock could be heading your way soon! Thanks again for the appreciation.
Loving these videos ! 🌱
Thanks Catherine
