Now see, you have built a reputation that even the kids love and appreciate you. There is one thing I like that you do that most fishermen do not do. They just don't cherish the life of a fish (of any kind) because when they catch one of any size and they turn it loose, they just give it a toss to throw it back in. It's almost like, Oh well if it lives it lives. I'm sure there are some that are not that way. But when you catch one, even all of them you take the time to just lay the fish on top of the water, move it around and give it time to get the oxygen back in it's Gill's and when the fish can, it goes ahead and goes. Those boys are my sweet nephews they love watching you and tell me all about you. They try to teach me about hunting and fishing everytime im around them. They sure are sweet boys.
Had to throw out a bunch of fillets up here in Michigan. The State put out an Emergency fish consumption stoppage on the river and reservoirs I fish. A chemical called PFAS and PFOS was found in high levels in the fillets. Catch and release will be the rule in that water what a shame. Many people ate fish from these waters for years. All fisherman must push for conservation and pollution controls. Let’s all remember this when we vote this fall. Only vote for candidates that want to regulate pollution in our waters and clean-up the pollution that is there now!!!

david mosier Jordan is definitely a crappie hole. I used to fish it a lot. I’d put in at Robeson Creek landing and fish up around stinking creek a lot. I use to love to catch the Hybrids they used to have in the lake. I’ve been down with some health issues for the last six months and haven’t been able to go as much as I used to. I sure would like to get back on a mess though. My wife can eat her weight in fried fish!
