    What would you recommend me for mobile DJ actions 2x ig2t with 2x SUB15H subs or two ES1203 sets with its two subs? What will be difference in sound?

    • @trinityprosound
      @trinityprosound  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would have to say 2 of the ES1203. I like the punchy low end from the dual 12's better and the ES1203 is more versatile of a system. The IG2T are great speakers, and pair well with the SUB15H, but the sound from the ES1203 sounds great. Keep in mind that the ES1203 LF is not a subwoofer like the SUB15H but does very well in the LF arena.

    Love your videos TrinitySound. I just purchased 2 es 1203 units that I absolutely love. I am a Mobile DJ and was wondering what is the optimal way to set these up as far as internal settings I.e. gain, hrs. High , mid , low

    i’m a mobile dj and now i‘ve got 2 of the ig2t and i didn‘t expect that they are so loud and clear and light. i also have a pair of mackie srm 450 v3 and the ig2t is far more clearer and you can go far louder without clipping or bad noise. but you should use the ig2t definitely with a sub. i got a sub 18h. thats enough for indoor but i think they need a second one for outdoor use. the sub18h is necessary, the sub 15h may be a bit too weak for the ig2t. i can‘t imagine how strong the ig3t might be....but i guess also the ig3t will need a sub for nice depth! for mobile dj use up to 200 people (for example a wedding) i would recommend 2 ig2t and 2 sub 18h...😉

      I would think 2 IG2Ts and 2 18" subs could do more like 300 people at a wedding.

    This or the RCF NXL44? Or which dB igt series is best vs NXL44? Or the ES1203?

    • @trinityprosound
      @trinityprosound  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      we like the IG4T the best from them all, but you can't really compare it to the NLX44 as it has all 10" drivers with the HF horn, the IG4T is more like the NXL24 and not the 44 in driver size and count, I like the weight factor of the IG4T better than weight of NXL24's as they are all wood construction. ES1203 will never do what the IG2T or IG3T or IG4T can do with a separate subwoofer.

    • @DonLee480

      trinityprosound Thank you. I’m located in Arizona. Is there anywhere I can demo? So in terms of SQ you like the IG4T vs NXL44? I understand the NXL44 has larger drivers but I’m more concerned with overall SQ. I heard from a few reviews that the NXL44 tend to sound harsh when pushed hard. Would like your take on that? Thanks! 😁

    • @trinityprosound
      @trinityprosound  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The NXL44 is crossed over at 800hz, so not so sure how someone could say harsh as that is typical of a box that is crossed over at 1.2khz or above. The sound of the NXL44 is smooth. The outdoor demo with did with it i was quite impressed. We coupled it with a RCF TTS36A at 4000 wrms and it outran the sub. Other than the weight of the speakers, the only draw back IMO they sound freak'n amazing, much smoother than the NXL24 or the IG4T. We like the IG4T for the sound and weight, but do wish it had a larger HF driver and lower crossover point similar to the NXL24. I would go out on a limb and say that if you bought and did not like them you could ship them back to us and we would do some type of exchange for you.

    • @DonLee480
      @DonLee480 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for the prompt response. Last question. Promise. How does the NX45a compare to the NXL44? I'm going to guess that the NXL44 is going to sound smoother and have more output? The NX45a has a larger voice coils on both compression driver and woofer but the NXL44a has 1db more output and frequency response show it going deeper. Curious on your thoughts. The price of the NX45a is more attractive.

    • @trinityprosound
      @trinityprosound  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      NXL44 is 90w x 30 v coverage, very focused in the vertical , the NX45 is 90 x 50 , the taller column and 3 drivers is the factor behind it...you will be limited in what you can do with NX45 vs. 2 of the NXL44's stacked...the NX45s can not be splayed effectively IMO without comb filtering, a double stack of NXL44's on the other-hand is freak'n amazing and also can be flown too for much better coverage..most of the wide trap boxes like the NX45 you are somewhat limited to one per side, 2 per side if deployed correctly for overlap to avoid comb filtering if possible

    I'm considering the 1t for smaller bands and using my dual 12 qsc cardioid subs with it (kind of like a bigger db 1203) I currently own the ig4ts and found out you can stack the 1t and 4t together . Would 2 ig1ts cover 200 to 300 people? I

    • @trinityprosound
      @trinityprosound  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The IG1T and 4T are not sonically the same and really is not recommended at all , coverage is different, cross over is different , power is not the same... sonically it is a mess to do that. IG2T's and subs would do 200-300 peeps, yes.

      @@trinityprosound Thanks so much for the recommendation. I'm eventually getting a second pair of ig4ts to stack along with 2 more of my rcf8003s for my bigger park shows. Wanted to get your quick opinion on compact speaker setups. I have engineers running gigs for me, and while I own a van, majority of these fill ins use tiny ass 4 door cars. I own 4 jbl srx 712ms with a powersoft amp which is fantastic for compact setups for me to use those for wedges so I'm looking at foh options. Maybe I'll get the 2ts as well

    • @trinityprosound
      @trinityprosound  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The IG line up and what these speakers are capable of doing when deployed in pairs per side is amazing, and they are light weight. No large amp racks, etc. we have done 1000 outdoors with 2 IG4T per side and subs. Just ensure you pair same model number boxes, no mix and match.

    Hi There! one question: i would like to know if is better 1 one of this system in stereo mode or 2 column of fbt vertus cs1000 ( 1 of this System cost the same price as 2 column of Ftb ...more or less... ) ? PS: i'm a Dj and I would like to use it for private party with 200 people max in open air ! thanks for replay

    • @trinityprosound
      @trinityprosound  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think you would like the low end of the ES1203 better. The CS1000 are good but they don't have the low end of the ES1203. But with that said, I like to have 2 LF bottom units, the sound to me just seems fuller and you are not having to place the LF unit in the middle or off to one side. 2 of the CS1000 will do 200 no issues, same with ES1203 if you place your LF unit in the center and lay on its side with the 1203 will provide good low end for your sized events. 2 of the ES1203 are killer...amazing sound.

    • @gianlucagentilotti2973
      @gianlucagentilotti2973 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      unfortunately I have never heard in the ES1203 or CS1000 but reading on the forums say that the ES 1203 does not have a good sound in the mid-high frequencies and it seems that the CS1000 are more balanced between the low frequencies and the mid-high frequencies. what do you think about it? thank you

    • @trinityprosound
      @trinityprosound  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The CS1000 is mid heavy tonality IMO the ES1203 is more even ... i guess it depends on the user, but the ES1203 is my favorite combo system for sound quality and output level. nothing comes close. The CS1000 would have to have a subwoofer to accompany it to do what the ES1203 does... IMO the ES1203 is very smooth and natural sounding, not harsh as with traditional HF drivers, etc. of typical 2 way speakers. They are all paper cone drivers.

    Thank you for this video. I am researching a system for outdoor shows at a local winery. It has lawn seating with a slight upward slope to a deck that is 140' from the front of the stage. Do you think a stacked pair of IG3Ts per side would reach the people sitting on the deck? The deck is roughly 13' above Z. The IG3Ts would be deployed on top of the subs, so I'm estimating the midpoint of the 2 speakers at 10' above the ground. I have modeled this system in EASE Focus and it estimates 99 dBA at the deck without subs; do you think that number is accurate based on your experience?

    • @trinityprosound
      @trinityprosound  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      John - would say that is close. The higher the better over the tops of the crowd, but with a slope up, you should be fine, sitting on top of subs to get them 4-5 feet off the ground is what we found works best. I think you will be amazed with the output of the speakers. Set crossovers on them to 90HZ and off you go. With the steering in the box you can adjust 10 degrees and most likely get your coverage where you need it.

      1 question
      Amongst all the IG1T, IG2T, IG3T & IG4T.. which is the best? The 1 & 2, 3 & 4 seem to exhibit similar dB SPL.
      But, the main question is, which is the best?

    can you use these without a sub ? I remember you mentioning in the first video that this speaker could do what any 2 way 12 inch speaker could do.

    • @trinityprosound
      @trinityprosound  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      you can, but they only go so low, so if you want anything lower than 100hz at a decent level, sub required.

      yes I believe its 59 hz, there a lot of decent top that go down to to 59 hz or closer. I guess my Question is more specific could I do A 100 person or less event with these tops. better yet can you do a short demo of the tops by themselves, I'm looking to replace my RCF 735 MK4. to heavy love the out put. but I'm looking for something that I don't have too push too fill the room or dance floor area.

      @@centerstageentertainment6792 No you can't. Unless you are doing very soft accoustic guitar tipe music. I mean who takes two 12" tops for a 100 people dj like event. I would use AT least a pair of 15" hi power Quality speakers.
      I mean it's simple, now everyone is looking for a super small, light, powerfull, clear, cheap speaker That can handle lots of people whit a pair.

    Was thinking 2 IG2Ts for my 2 KW181s (after watching your videos on them). But now I think 2 full ES1203 systems is the way to go (after watching your other video). I may lean towards versatility in the end but what could be some noticeable differences in the 2 set ups I'm considering? Mostly indoor weddings in a big city - so 60 pound rig is nice.
    (I already own the KW181 - willing to sell them down the road as the setup evolves)

    • @trinityprosound
      @trinityprosound  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      If the KW181 have M20 threads , no problems, for the IG series. The ES1203 for the system it is , well is short of amazing. The output from them, though not a "dedicated" subwoofer, the LF box does a fantastical job with low end. If you had a set of them (black or white now) the output for DJ work and small bands for 200-300 or so would bring a smile to your face. For small events a single ES1203 would work well.

    @crossover8634 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    I had a dealer tell my the IGT3 has the same output as the es1203 and would be better off with the IGT3. Specs show the same max db output but frequency response is lower on the es1203. somehow I can't see a single IGT3 putting out the same sound production as the es1203. whats your thoughts.

    • @trinityprosound
      @trinityprosound  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Maybe same SPL but in no way same frequency response, the dual 12's of the ES1203 are amazing. Whoever told you that has no clue what they are talking about. We have sold a ton of ES1203 and installed IG3T's in venues... they need a sub to get good low end. ES1203 all built in.
