just to say, on euro fantasy you will have only 3 transfers on stage of 8, so a wc chip on that gameweek will be essential, rather than champions league where you have 5 transfers and 2 games in knockout stage inorder to transfer out players who are more favoured to get knocked out, on previous euro all ppl did your strategy and netherlands got knocked out from checz republic, and most of ppl who had 5 players from netherlands and used wc chip gw 3 ruined their fantasy ranking, i did limitless gw3 and wc on grp 8 that year and i got to 78 overall ranking, i will definitely go with that strategy this year too
My fear is that my team is so strong in every match day during the group stage that I can't find additional value using the chips. This is first time I'm in this situation, that's why I'm here lol.
@10:09 I’m currently favouring the usual approach which is using both chips in the group stages. However, I’m very open to saving the Wildcard for Matchday 5. No matter what, I will use the Limitless in Matchday 2 or 3.
I'm personally going with Limitless MD2 because some of the toughest matches of the GS are, for instance Spain and Italy and France and Netherlands clash and it would be difficult to get high points from those games, and instead double or triple up on teams such as Belgium and Portugal. I'm also saving Wildcard for MD5 because 3 transfers is not a lot and we've seen in the last Euro that upsets are likely at that stage.
the thing is, you dont want to be trippled up on both portugal and belgium in MD2, because that would mean you would have 6 players playing on the last day! that means you can do way less subs
There are many pros for using the Wildcard in Matchday 5, the same goes for using both chips in the group stages. The same can’t be said about the Limitless in my opinion. It’s just far more effective during the group stages.
I also think both chips on group stage would be the best strategy, group stage is where there are more diferential options to take advantage and also MD1 will give us a lot of information for MD2 and MD3, if you try for a solid team for both MD1 & MD2 and if MD1 results are weak you only have 2 substitutions which could be not enought to change things up. However this carries higher risk for R16, but with some "safe" strategy you could be easily okay for quarter final. I had to look for some old screenshots and in the past euro fantasy I had 5 players knocked out (1 france, 2 netherlands & 1 croatia), with 3 transfers I didn't really need the wildcard at all.. I think the mistake it's probabily going for 4 or 5 players of one team like some people did with Netherlands and France, but if you do max 2 or 3 of the favourites teams... I don't think there could be more than 2 or 3 upsets... and with 7 or less players knocked out you can still field an starting 11 for next round... wich is not ideal but at this stage of the tournament most teams would look very similar and there is less space left for diferentials to take an advantage. Anyway I am not 100% sure yet what to do, I'll hear feedback if someone wants to add stuff

@benlenzen12333 why should you prioritise subs over points? they have the best fixture!

is it ok to take two opposite team player, for example Szoboslay and Saqiri/Xhaka for
matchday 1?

Yes you can in Matchday 5, not for the Round of 16 though as you have unlimited transfers already.
