Redesigning my main base has been a ton of fun with all the new stuff, Can't wait to see what you come up with on your redesign. Edited to add: You can trade for the manuscripts with the bounty guys in the different settlements. It's 1 bounty ticket for 3 manuscripts. You can also speed up researches by building a max of 3 Pal Labor Research Labs and assigning a pal to each one, They all work toward the same goal despite being on different structures.
if you are already high level, you can just go around the map one-shotting the bounties, collecting their bounty posters, and trading them in for ancient pal manuscripts at the bounty officer in the nearest town. I did this and got like 100 manuscripts from 30 posters or something
IIRC pals get a work skill boost when they get to 4 stars from condensing or whatever you want to call melting a bunch of pals down. Edit: Also there's a new pal in Feybreak that has lvl 4 lumbering.
@@oomaddockoo117 IIRC = If I Recall Correctly No worries about the pal, I didn't know about it either I just looked it up after you mentioned that no pal was lvl 4 lumbering.
its pretty easy to avoid. Like the other guy said just make sure you always have 2 saunas. get the better sauna when you unlock it. And you can always go buy high grade medical supplies at the small settlement. My pals have been only eating berries and wheat since day 1. no settings changed
@dr_mercio I've done all that, and none of my Pals are ever injured, overfull or depressed, making the medicine cabinet a welcome (if redundant in my case) QoL upgrade. You brag about how you've been on berries and wheat since the start, but that's not a flex. You're essentially boasting that you're playing sub optimally and, and for some odd reason, you're proud of that. Far be it for me to tell anybody how to play their game. I just thought it was odd that so many peoples' bases were full of depressed, injured Pals.

So do the research boosts apply to all working pals at all bases?
Yes
Can u do all research for each one?
Yes, There's no limit per category.
How are you able to research lvl 4 under lumbering since there is no Pal with lvl 4 lumbering skills?
Same issue
Celesdir?
Get a work suitability book and add it to a condensed Wumpo Botan, or Bastigor.
How do you get the lumbering level 4 one? As no pal has level 4 lumber

@Kyllvan I'm not sure what IICR means haha sorry and oooh ok I didn't know that and I'll have to find/ figure what pal that is so I can go get it

@@Kyllvan I've looked at Google and not found anything what is it?
Just found it then , thank you, have you heard anything about the new trader? And how to get or find it
My mining pals won’t do any mining research. Specifically Anubis
You can use monitoring stand to assign pal to do research
100% Depression is so comically common with so many peoples' bases. Does it really not affect productivity much?
I literally havent had it trough out my gameplay, just make salads for food & have 2 baths for them (not 2 forget the beds)
