If the player is a glove wearer, I found that over a ball the glove is too slick and shaft slides left and right too easily.. Roll up the glove on the thumb bridge. I like to choke up on the grip a little also for better accuracy.

Yes you would 100% shorten your stroke for accuracy. I have never used a glove so can't comment about that. Thanks for the comment and watching!
