You know I always warm my lt500 up too, but my mechanic told me otherwise. He said let it idle down for a second and ride it like you stole it. Makes somewhat sense as the engine oil is not designed to heat up, I guess the only oil that is needed to heat up somewhat is the gear oil. Do the alloys in the jug need to heat up for it to run right? What do you think?
@@spaceoftheface7176 yes but oil need to come to motor first that’s why you need to warm it up, cos if you don’t it runs without oil, so it’s damaging your bike.

@@crazyguyjg Ummm, it's premix, so wouldn't the oil be lubricating as soon as you start it up?
I wanna buy one of these get a fresh top end rebuild on it and experience what my father did back in 87’ when he bought his brand new.

How do you get yours to start so easily in the winter with a bunch of snow it’s only like 40 where I am and mine will not start no matter what I do
this monster is hard to start in cold winter weather, needs alot of hard kicks to start it.
