I’m so glad I found you! You appear to be a “real life” teacher. I also teach 4th. I just started watching your videos. In your simplify video you mentioned your bday routine and wanting to simplify it more. I was given an idea and loved it last year and will do again. On Meet the Teacher, I have student write on a sticky (or something maybe cuter this year) their favorite candy. I don’t say why. Then I go and buy the full size version of it. I place it in one of those plastic thank you party bags and put their name and “Happy Birthday!’ Then I place it all in a basket on my shelf. When it’s their bday (Or half bday) I give it out and they LOVE that they get a full size version, lol! Now I’m going back to more binge watching of your videos!
Rachel, I am a homeschool parent, but really enjoying your videos! Where can I find the poster right behind you about being the nice kid? I really need that in my house!

Hello! I just found your channel and am loving your videos. Question for you, what do you do with papers your team gives you and your not sure yet if your going to use it or may possibly find it worthy to keep as a reference for the future? I get a good handful of papers weekly and my papers just stack and when I get time to organize I end up getting overwhelmed and just chunk them.
Since I organize by subject, I'll just throw it in corresponding drawer and use it or file it later. If I decide to file it for later, I'll only keep one copy. But honestly, when decided if I should keep it depends on what it is. If it's just a practice sheet, I'll toss it know I probably have something similar digitally.

I found it on Etsy and had it printed at Staples as a blueprint, because it's cheaper than a regular poster.
Thank you for sharing! Could you share the grade book checklist you mentioned? Thanks!

You are so welcome! I just measured my drawers and created a rectangle shape in PowerPoint. Then I added the text.
