Treasure Hunt Bookshelf just looks more and more gorgeous! And all the other projects are looking beautiful! That bee! It's always fun seeing all of your projects...you have such good taste and so much stitchy talent! I say leave the rudbeckia stems the way they are for now...when it comes time to do the other stems, then you can see what the whole thing is looking like with the two different colors. :)

The couching explaination was wonderful!!! I had no idea it took two needles and we twisted the thread on top! I look forward to seeing couching as you get to it in the future. 😊

I think you’re stitching your bookshelf in numerical order - so using up all of one number then next highest/lowest in whichever order you decided to go…. Or you’re throwing a dart at a list and stitching that way LOL - good to see you looking happy! - Nic x

IMO, the darker color you picked for the Drawn Thread pattern would be too blue-tinted for the tree. I'd either go with the one you've already used on rudbeckias or get a darker muted green
I was wondering about how much blue is in that darker green. I haven't done anything yet mostly because I don't feel settled in any choice.
Your book shelf looks great. Have you tried the Stitch Pal app for keeping track of progress? I think it's great! I edit my total every few days and SP gives me the new daily amount to do for a finish deadline
I use Stitch Pal and enjoy it a lot! The only thing is that it can only calculate a finish date based on daily stitching. It can't adjust in advance for days you don't plan on stitching on a project.
@@thebrowneyedstitcher that's right. I'm okay with an average to do XX, and it's fun to see that go down when I've stitched more than that. And encouraging to do at least the average number. Enjoy stitching the last part, I'm going to try your method on my ASIT. 🌷🇳🇱🌷

I did stitch a lot of the dark areas earlier in the year so that I could go anywhere and have places to anchor my thread.

Hi Suki. Would the dark green from the owl forest embroidery set of enchanted forest be a good fit for the summer garden in stead of the missing sea grass?
Ooooh.... I think I like this idea a lot. I haven't decided on anything which usually means that I'm not convinced my options are the right choices.
Why don't you just use both colors? The olive green on the one side and the other color on the other tree. You don't have to stick to either or.
It's very true. I still feel really indecisive about what color to use which probably means I don't really like either idea for the tree. I have a feeling I'm leaving the rudbeckia stems 😆 No need to frog something that looks good already!
How do you figure out the floss equivalent of beads for your Mirabilia?
There is a list somewhere on the interwebs that has mill hill to DMC conversions. I used that! Nice and easy.
