The money has always been there for the current crop of promoters to make these fights happen, they just can’t bare the thought of having to give ground to a rival company in order to make them happen, it’s gotten to the point where it’s become way more important for them to be perceived as the top dog by the public without realising that the public have no interest in their power struggle and would be way more invested in them if they just did their jobs properly.

Ah BUT fury has that Macdermott dodgy decision way back. It really was a disgrace. He lost the fight clearly there’s no disputing it- yet they handed him the win. The judges were PAID OFF. People are going to be surprised how quickly Fury gets tired. He can't keep pace with Usyk for 12, Fury will slow around 7 and Usyk dominates the closing rounds to take a unanimous decision.

Fury has immense stamina. I have never seen him exhausted in any fight. I'm not sure Usyk will be able to move fury enough to tire him and if he gets in close fury will use his weight and Usyk will be knackered. I see it the opposite to you

@@briancameron3071 that’s not entirely true, he’s just smart at conserving energy. He ain’t getting any breaks with Usyk tho. And a whole new body shape, had an effect on your fitness, not always a positive one either. We know he can do 12 rounds with a bit of chub, can he do it without that cushion tho? He’s gna lose weight during the fight, his body will react differently now it’s carrying less reserve fat.

Pay-Per-View (PPV) killed an entire generation of boxing. Boxing was on regular TV every weekend. Kids saw it… PPV stop kids from watching it. Adults had parties or bars to watch. Kids didn’t. Then M. Tyson was knocking people out in 1-2 rounds. It killed a generation from watching the sport. Corruption of the sport hurt. Finally MMA was on TV & the fans started learning/understand the ground n pound etc. Multiple boxing organizations don’t help. But… I’m right.

Teddy Atlas should take note that given its past history the IBF will probably strip the winner of Fury-Usyk the first fight for not defending against their number one contender Filip Hrgovic and Hrgovic will fight Anthony Joshua for the vacant IBF title ! For the best interest of boxing their should be an undisputed heavyweight champion for as long as possible but the sanctioning bodies only care about making a profit on sanctioning fees and their own interests !

Why I think people liked older era boxing, 80s back, is because we got decisive outcomes without bad judges. Why? Because fights ended in KOs. Why so? Because they went 15 rounds. Most KOs happend after modern fights now end, after round 12. Example is Leonard vs hearns. The only prob with that is that it was killing the fighters. Those last 3 round took years off life. See Ali vs Frazier 3. So whats better, a decisive winner or nobody on life support. Just imagine Ali still talking noise as a commentator.
