TBH I always forget Shiki has this move. I play a variety of characters including Tohno, but the version of Tohno that I play is F-Tohno, who doesn't have it.
The downfall of this moveset is it that, C-Tohno the only moon style has this therefore it is somewhat situational and underrated moveset since I've seen it rarely as a combo. I think this is for closing the gap and cheesy mixups
@@XenZyek I think I've seen it as a combo ender after the air bnb that most characters share (...j.b -> j.c -> dj.b -> dj.c -> j.22c). I don't know how effective that would be as a finisher compared to j.623c or just AT though.
@@brendansage6876 j22c (ex divekick) is almost never used as an ender as the opponent can air tech and the game resets to neutral while doing less damage compared to ex dp. however, outside of neutral it is a valuable metered option to get around 400 extra damage to close out a round (...>2c>6b>j.b/c>j22c>sj.c/b>...)
@@minami3747 Thanks for the explanation! I actually have practiced C-Tohno a little bit since writing this, and I do find him fun, but I think I still prefer F-Tohno and H-Nanaya as my Shiki variants. Something about the F-Tohno and C/H-Nanaya 236x cheese slicer specials just are more satisfying and better to me personally than C/H-Tohno's sweeping slash moves.
the fucking majora's mask bell, perfection

@@brendansage6876 you could say it's viable as a combo but j.632c and j.ad is better than j.22c in general or j.22a
