What is even sadder is that most Algerian people deny their origins and call themselves Arabs completely ignorant to the fact that Prophet Muhammed peace and blessings be upon him has said that there will be no Paradise for the people who claim to be from another father than their father or another people than their people.
They will tell you that "speaking Arabic" makes you an Arab and all other non sense but no matter the language you speak it doesn't change your blood nor your ethnicity nor what you should be called. If it wasn't the case, they wouldn't have tried to stop Amazighs in Kabylia from speaking the Amazigh language by Jailing them, beating them and God knows what else.
Indeed It was emotional because this was the anthem of the algerian revolution , the first non violent revolution that started in 2019 up to 20 milion people in the streets every week without any violence claiming for democracy and freedom= "Liberté" !

Algerians can speak french because Algeria was colonized by France from 1830 till 1962 and the song "la liberté" which means freedom it's about Algerian people who rose up against the corrupt authority by carrying out a peaceful movement that lasted throughout 2019, and at the end he added the music of the algerian song "a vava inouva" of the singer "Idir" which has passed away in 2020.
