Anywhere you travel in the west, you can find beauty, cheap campgrounds, and lots to see. Utah has got to be the best for scenic wonder at every turn. Driving north to south is gorgeous even on I-15. All of South Az does see night below freezing in Jan. / Feb. plus some winds that will rip off an awning, so keep them secure when unattended. Dust devils are quick and without warning. Lake Havasu AZ State Park is very busy but a really nice spot to stay very close to town. Cat Tail Cove about 9 miles south is quiet, has a beach, and picking up a cancelation a few days before can happen. Quartzsite in Jan. Of course, is the RV meca. Can be fun but is so crowded, great place to meet up with friends and camp free on a wide choice of BLM lands in every direction. There is a place about 8 miles into Calif. On I-10 called the Center of the World, a very interesting place. Of course, the famous cross over to Mexico for cheap dental service, great margaritas and cheap wears is very close. Yuma is a busy military town, stretched out giving more of a feeling it's a town 1/2 it's size. The air base is a noisey neighbor in most of the town. Flights pretty well end about 8 p.m.. Lot of camping but roads can be full of pot holes, so take it slow. Night sky's sunrises and sunsets always worth some photos, I have a zillion of them. 😊
We start full time April 2026 and hope all goes well at least in the beginning. The issue right now is downsizing the house to Airbnb. Tuffer than I could have imagined.
Cargo net is genius! Great cost data!!
Thanks, it's holding up really well and keeping the cover from ballooning.
I'm glad that I got a chance to see THE TOE again! LOL
Yeah, that was not fun!

Thanks! I'll add those to my planning sheet. We love Utah and Arizona from the little bit we've already seen.

Downsizing was definitely hard, but also freeing. It's amazing what you learn that you can live without. Good luck!
