Phenomenal. And there can NEVER be too many Rush reactions. Saw them 20 times and you are right - hearing and watching them live was truly special.

Geddy is a beast on that bass. If I had a Time Machine, first stop would be taking you back to a Rush concert. Cheers!

As Neil Peart is the GOAT of drums , Geddy Lee is in my opinion one of the greatest Bass players bar none... Nuff said.

One of my favorites of their instrumentals, top three along with La Villa Strangiato and, of course, YYZ. "Leave That Thing Alone" is so simple, but terrific. Awesome bass licks by Geddy Lee and terrific melodies by Alex. Neil is typically great. Just an amazing instrumental! Loved the concert version.

Was fortunate to be able to see them live countless times and once in Europe. No egos on display just 3 guys who somehow came together and created magic.

Shit! You're black?!?!? That was an awesome comment! Hello from one Rush fan to another. I first saw Rush on the Hemispheres tour and then enjoyed another 7 different tours over the years. I am going to go through your Rush reaction list and will recommend any songs I think you would enjoy taking a look at. Let's face it, these are three of the most talented musicians that have graced the rock world ever. Neal is the GOAT. He is simply in a class of his own. There MIGHT be one or two others who come close, but when you look at the big picture Neal is #1. Let us also keep in mind that Neal writes all the lyrics for Rush and he has written some deep stuff over the years. Put those two facts together and we see Neal in a spotlight that is shared by no one who sits behind the drums. Geddy as a bass player is the GOAT. He consistently cranks out the most amazing bass lines and he plays them live looking as if he is relaxing on a beach with a cold one. The man is amazing. And let us not forget that he plays keyboards (at times with his feet) and sings as well. Put this all together and we find Geddy in a spotlight that is shared by no other bass player. Alex, what can we say about Alex. With the huge number of guitarists within the rock world, it would be difficult to say Alex is the GOAT. What we can say is that HE IS THE MOST UNDERRATED GUITAR PLAYER IN ROCK HISTORY!!! The man is amazing! Yet because he is on stage with two undisputable GOATs his brilliance often gets missed. Yet when you look at songs like Working Man, La Villa Strangiato, Red Barcheta, Natural Science, Superconductor, Xanadu, Closer to the Heart, The Spirit of the Radio, Tom Sawyer, Animate, Leave That Thing Alone, Face Up and so many others then you begin to understand the talent, versatility and pure skill that Alex brings to the best rock band that has graced our lives over the past 40 plus years. I have been honored to have enjoyed so many of their performances and it is a pleasure to watch as more people discover the amazing band that Rush is.

I may have mentioned these suggestions in previous Rush reaction videos, but it needs repeating. It's time you reacted to a few late era Rush songs. Leave That Thing Alone is newest Rush song you have reacted too, which is from 1993's Rush Counterparts album. There are 20 more years of Rush discography postt Counterparts, just as there are about 20 years of Rush discography pre Counterparts. Though they went from one new album every year or two, as they did up to counterparts, to one album every four or five years. They still did non-stop touring through 2015 though, as usual, constantly on tours, they didn't slow down much there (beyond the one 4-5 year hiatus after 1997 when Neil Peart's daughter and then wife died)
It's time you listened to a selection of Rush's last 20 years of original studio recordings. Give these Rush songs and instrumentals a reaction: Far Cry, The Main Monkey Business, Ghost Rider, Driven, Headlong Flight, The Wreckers, Caravan, Test for Echo, Vapor Trail.
