Sifuna's plans to oust Ababu Namwamba as ODM Secretary General fails

The chairperson of the disputes tribunal in the opposition orange democratic movement party Edwin Sifuna has staged an internal coup and declared he’s ODM secretary general, claiming Ababu Namwamba has absconded duty. The move comes three days after embattled ODM Secretary General Ababu and national vice chairperson, Paul Otuoma, accused party leader Raila Odinga and Chairperson John Mbadi of sidelining them in major decisions involving the party.
