yes yes yes....Great man of God...!...but it always bothers me when you hear someone in the audience laughing at things that should not be funny..I know he is witty and says some funny things and that's not my beef,,,,but when you hear people laughing about remarks as someone going to Hell....to me that's serious...I don't Alistair, I mean audience....and they laugh at concerning things...
I agree, but I sometimes find even myself laughing awkwardly, because the only other option would to weep openly, and that would be too painful. I don't think Alistair ever intends to be funny for the funny's sake, and certainly never to make light of the greatest tragedy imaginable: the looming peril of an unredeemed heart. Yet, sometimes a tiny bit of careful levity can pierce cleaner than plain talk, and if it makes us uncomfortable, then our hope must be that it will "spur us on to love and good deeds." Onward for the gospel!
Yes, I see how I could have been misunderstood with my reference to Begg's "tiny" Bible. Begg makes me laugh sometimes because he is just so genuine and adorable (and quirky). Yet in his hands, he wields even that tiny book like the great sword that it is. (I doubt I'd be able to read the fine print.) He's a treasure.

I only believe in the Bible, in God the Father and the Holy Spirit, and the existence of Satan only because Jesus says that this is truth. It is only because of Jesus that I accept the Bible as the Truth.

Be certain that you reaf the Bible for yourself. I listened to is Radio Broadcast and he is claiming that Sunday is the Sabbath when Saturday is the Sabbath.
@@donnaroberts4513 Well if we want to be Biblicist about it, neither day is officially the Sabbath, because Sunday and Saturday are both constructs of the secular calendar. But in our country and in our day the church observes the sabbath primarily on Sunday, with the exception of 7th-day Adventists and Messianic Jews, so it is to Sunday that he refers.

The devil is deceitful. Who knew Billy Graham was a 33rd degree Mason? Who knew he's a wolf in sheeps clothing? If you don't know what to look for, you won't see it. It can happen to anyone. I've been in churches and wondered about the odd hand signals, but after all these years, I know, and I'm so glad I left.

I'm so glad that beside his radio program at 8:00 a..m., I can listen to him online. He's the only pastor with the amount of understanding he has about God's word that is NOT a Freemason. If you've not studied Freemasonry, at least listen to "Walter Martin debates Mason." It will tell you a tremendous amount of info on why you can't be a Christian and a Mason, though the Masons don't tell their own members. We need another Walter Martin, too, who studied cults and the occult for over 40 years till his death.
Most of the well-known pastors are Masons, and if you study their symbols and hand signs, it will lead you to the "big" secret of their secret society and all secret societies. They are the wolves in sheeps' clothing Jesus warned us about. It is good to learn to know one when you see one by watching what they do. I pray with you for God's blessing over your marriage. Study the Word, use the word as your weapon of warfare. Trust in The Lord, you can't deliver your sinful self, only He can. As for giving you extra ordinary intelligence, not sure of that one but I believe that God qualifies those He calls.

Unless a person is reborn again and there is a complete change, if this person repents, turns away from sin, professing Jesus Christ is Lord as proof of that this rebirth, regeneration has happened no one unless these proofs exist can be assured, nor will they enter the Kingdom of God to spend eternity with God, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Yes, BUT ONLY if he can do an act or a work to show that his faith in Jehovah God through Christ Jesus is genuine. So what work did the highway robber do? Believe! Faith is an act! A Protestant Christian Doctor Frank Turek (1961 - ) was asked by Christopher Eric Hitchens (1949 - 2011) "What kind of Christian he is, and who are, and who are not Christians, in his view, who claim to be?"
And the good Doctor Frank Turek responded in this manner:
"I'm a non-denominational Christian! I believe that anyone who believed that Jesus died and rose again for their sins is a Christian!"
I believe that he said it best!
The presumptuous accusation by the apostle Paul (Saul Benjamin) (3 - 67) that anyone who comes to preach "a different gospel" about "another Jesus" is of Satan the Devil and is to be accursed of Jehovah God is both erroneous, fallacious, and very wrongfully judgmental to say the least:

This unreasonable complaint quoted by the apostle above DOES NOT pass the Beelzebub test because both the Latter Day Saint Mormons and the Jehovah's Witnesses only praise Jehovah God (Yahweh Elohim Allah) and His son Jesus Christ Judah (8 B.C. - 33 A.D.), and if they praise God and His son then they CANNOT be at all Satanic!

Interesting sermon however I disagree that there is no absolute. God is the only absolute.
When did Alistair say that there was no absolutes?? I think you should go listen to the sermon again. There are those in the world who try to tell us that there is no absolutes. Yes I agree in God's absolute sovereignty.

Does anyone know what Bible he is reading from?
I admire his soft spoken style! I just wish he would read from the King James version. He says here that from one man God made all nations. The King James says "from one blood". Does "one blood" mean "one man"? According to the version he's reading from it does. But, if "one blood" means anything other....then we're led astray. Just some thoughts in passing. May God bless us all with understanding.
In at least three places in scripture, the word translated as blood refers to mankind. "Flesh and blood" has not revealed this to you...In Genesis blood is also used to refer to a man or men...So, no issue at all.
The King James Version is written in the 1500's British English, and many words have been found to mean something else today (by scholars). "Charity" was used for "love" back then. That's not what "Charity" is today. "One blood" comes from "one man." Why did that confuse you? Can "one blood" come from more than one man?
What if the new translation is more accurate to the original meaning, and the KJV got it wrong?
Could Alistair learn something from Leonard Sweet on this subject?
