The door knockers, knobs and pulls are fascinating! All of them so different for the same function with only a few that appear to be duplicating. And the doors are equally beautiful! If both the doors and the door knockers could but talk and tell stories of everything they have seen over the many, many years! Thank you for sharing these beauties!

I agree. I've got enough video of just doors too. They're even more interesting. You can't help but walk around this place and wonder what history these doors have seen.

Thank you, Mr Jaeger! I have always been attracted to doors, knobs and knockers. Keys too. Interesting how you walk a little place like Sulmona and find this jewels.

I'm not sure I was that interested until you find yourself in Italy, or some other ancient country where the heritage is as rich today as it was hundreds of years ago. As I was walking down these small cobblestone streets my eye couldn't help but be drawn to craftsman ship and longevity of the doors, door knockers, and pulls. Glad you enjoyed it.
