Dunno why, but military ending has a bittersweet wholesome vibe.
Funny how both Duty and Freedom end up effectively the same.
Monolith ending... That would be scary. Like real bad.
Military ending is like real life, soldiers feel proud for defending a cause but there isn't higher pride than to go home to our family and friends. Duty and Freedom are always going to end the same because they deeply are more similar between them than they thought. And Monolith... Yeah... We don't talk about that... Anyways, thanks for the comment, appreciate it.

@@theskykeeper8476 i dont think the conscripts forcefully sent to the zone would give a shit about defending a rightful cause, they would just happy to be demobilized or sent somewhere safer in ukraine.
To think that Clear Sky almost acomplished this ending ...rip Clear Sky faction, you have a good run.
I hope they make some sort of comeback in Stalker 2
it does make me happy that they are in Anomaly

@@theskykeeper8476 i hope too, i don't know how will the new faction "Ward" will play out, their reason feels too similar to Clear Sky, Freedom and Military or Duty, while it is cool, i don't know how will they work
Well they can come back, some of them left in the Swamps, but after their numbers dwindled they either will extremly keep to themselves or they dismiss the whole faction.
Even tho, morality, goal and overall they were the "good guys" if we think about that, so to say their ideology is sorta a mix between Duty and Freedom with some Ecologist seasoning, they wanted to stop the Zone before it becomes way too much danger, yet wanted to examine it and use it for the betterment of mankind. Thats why i usually advise to play with Clear Sky faction if you like both Duty and Freedom yet can't choose.

Duty and mercs endings are my fav and the mercs ending is also really fitting on how I imagined them, for me they always were the most skilled and well equiped faction in the zone, ready at all time to take it over in a blink of an eye. And duty is my main faction so yeah

and Freedom, Clear Sky, Military and Merc endings are my fav too, pretty much clandestine and mysterious as always
I would say that military was strongest fraction, I mean modern artillery can hit you from over 40 kilometres so from outside of zone and attack of Mi-24 wing, yeah that's scary much more deadly than anything other fractions can throw. They have spetsnaz and numbers also some high altitude planes that can hit you before you even know they're here and most importantly scout the area.
@@Bolshevik.remover I mean they might be a threat if they weren't comically inept and totally naive about the zone.
@@Doc_Fun they were but look they are actually adapting. They learn from their mistakes. Land operations are impossible? Try by the air. Aerial anomalies and emmisions? Make map of anomalies next time and anti emmision system. Anomalies change positions? Act fast to counter it. In the meantime they created military stalkers like Degtarev and are gathering knowledge about the zone. I wouldn't say they are inept. They work pretty well despite their corrupted and shity state that was Ukraine before Euromajdan. I would say that after the CoP and military getting an idea how to operate in the zone and decimating the monolith in first part (those you fight are actually just remnants weak in numbers and equipment in the last game) could actually overpover the factions and regain control over Chernobyl, but that's probably to expensive and too many of them would have died so no government will allow another operation that could backfire and risk losing support.

Also I think Mother anarchy love her son would fit Freedom (in my opinion)
Endings that I liked:
1: Military ending first because the poor grunts that are stuck in the zone with little knowledge finally won't get killed by blind dogs at night or won't become a zombie from extreme radiation exposure and will finally be able to go home
2: Duty ending second because the zone finally gets controlled and stops the expansion of the zone
3: Monolith ending because za monolit
the duty ending never says they stopped the zone from expanding ,just that they killed all the monolith and later freedom and other factions.

Well they are at constant war with Freedom (a faction as big as them, as far as I know), not to mention the mutants, bandits and sometimes mercs too. They kinda have their hands full most of the time. You really think that if they had the people and resources to spare in order to attack the CNPP, they wouldn't do it?
@@virgiljianu7166 Duty are scared of the zone, that's why it's Freedom boys risking their lives at the barrier with Gatekeeper. If they were all that about "protecting the world from the zone", shutting down the CNPP like Clear Sky would've been a permanent solution, but they won't even put in the work to keep the "temporary" solution going by manning the barrier, leaving it to Freedom while still claiming to be humanity's protectors.
Duty actually does a lot more than Clear Sky.
Clear Sky, on the other hand, accomplished nothing; they're dead. Or padding Monolith numbers. Fucking clowns.
Duty are just all talk and no action.

military ending probably is the most true neutral ending ever
How is the military ending neutral?
@@vbhgbvf monolith gets wiped out, zone gets shut down and controlled, thousands of stalkers regardless of factions are arrested (which lets face it they are actually breaking the law) and everyone gets to return home.

I imagine that the Merc Ending also involves putting key leaders inside the Bandits and Loner Factions in order to keep them in line, they're willing to give them equipment, in exchange they must help in their attacks, like in Episode Five of 'EFT: Raid' where USEC employed hundreds of Scavs to act as bait meanwhile Spec Op Units infiltrated the port to retrieve their stolen baggage, imagine a raid on a Monolith/Military/or Duty base where in which they're suddenly being attacked by both small arms fire and mortar barrage meanwhile in the background, specialized units have breached their perimeter, killing the occupied defenders to capture the area.
Here’s the thing, those “USEC” guys, they are not USEC, they are the Black Division, Terragroup’s Spec Op unit

Freedom would declare themselves as an independent sovereignty allowing anyone free access to the zone and smuggling the artifacts all over the world.

The military ending is even for a Монолит fighter like me the most realistic ending that could happen
"Duty ending" makes no sense. Their literal motto is to protect neutral stalkers and eradicate the zone. Freedom and Bandits. Why in the hell would nobody neutral be safe if they won?
Their motto is more like "protect the world from the zone" neutrals do feel safe but as Duty grows in numbers and reputation they became more and more the shadow hand of the military so they obviously would have a great influence on the faction's actions
@@theskykeeper8476 Duty relies on Free stalkers though, they're influence with the military is not that big. If anything Duty has more influence on the military than the other way around.
@@theskykeeper8476 They are not friend of the military CS loner saw duty and military shooting at each other, he wasn't there long, but that was not a show of brotherly love.
CS and COP the whole faction origin is being abandoned by the military and in turn becoming Duty, sure Tachenko one of the founders faked military abandoning them by destroying comunication equipment, just so he can stay in the zone, but considering no one else knows about Tachenko deception, the rest of duty despises the military, they would never be their hands.

IMO, the Loner ending should just be called the Strelok Ending. The Loner ending should've been for most of the Loners, but i still enjoy the video! Good work.

After the release of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 You will see that either one of ghost or fang is still alive.
I really hope that, their histories have been retconned over and over so we don't know exactly what their fates were
@@theskykeeper8476 I am pretty sure we found em dead in SoC, Ghost died in lab X-16 aka the "Miracle machine" and Fang is buried in Pripyat near the Monolith base. And Stalker 2 will takes place after Call of Pripyat

@@josefptacek113 Honestly the story line compared to the canon story is not so much out of its way, i think having it is as canon wouldn't really be a bad thing, and if we look story wise, its makes most sense if you do it as a Loner, 1 for that good 'ol stalker vibe, 2 they are still the "protagonist" faction and most things are centers around them, wherethere others like it or not, its the thing, back to it, its would surely spice the lore of stalker up really good
@@k_balu-8104 even though I am a Freedomer I agree that loners are and should be "the main" faction from story perspective.
Honestly if any other faction was the main faction then only reasonable ending would be that they would dominate the zone, loners are not quite interesting in controlling territory and their motivations vary greatly on individual level making much more room for interesting stories and endings that don't necessarily need to have big impact on the zone to be interesting.
Also I hope we will be able to meet Strelok in Stalker 2 , but not as someone that would be nesecery for story, man deserves some rest ( especially if we count anomaly as cannon) I would rather see him as someone like Wolf. Hell he could even be tutorial guy for our new main character, that would be cool, but on other hand kinda sad seeing legend of the zone just training rookies.

You got the duty wrong. they hate military, their faction is even formed by the help of free stalker.
Although it was formed by the help of free stalkers they are considered a para-military organization and follow the Ukrainian army chain of command
@@theskykeeper8476 Chain of command my butt. Majority of dutyer are deserter, and they occasionaly engaging in fire fight with the army, a duty expert name Zuru openly express his hatred toward the army and USS in front of multiple speznas and Major Degtyrev.
Duty MAY side with the military if the situation requires it, they are actually probably the faction that has the highest chance of doing that thing, and duty was formed by deserters, free stalkers came in after it arose

The merc is just going around looking for information for their sponsor.
What scares me about the merc ending is that the merc's mission will only end once the sponsor have enough information to do whatever they want to do.
Imagine an entity wealthy enough to send the whole merc faction into the zone with all their advanced equipment. Imagine just what they want with that information. That scares me
@@ilhambahniar2892 I do believe the mercs are funded by some western powers. They are there to propably try to find out information on some top secret soviet stuff since the ukrainian army in the game is also trying to figure those things out (my reasoning being even ukrainian government doesnt know about that information since they used to be under soviet rule until the union collapsed and hence had really no clue what was going on in chernobyl, therefore the campaign called "truth" was launched in SOC) The nato weaponry kind of hints into that direction that mercs are indeed funded by western powers.
Might be totally wrong though, but thats just my take on the subject.
